The Sabres get right back up on that horse in the last contest before the Christmas break.

Not sure what happened last night (it's early), but saw a 2 -1 score for the Caps.

Lets get these guys.

MUST WIN!!

Anaheim is playing well but the Sabres need to get back to their winning ways.

Probably Linus in net.

It is Duck season and there is no limit or game wardens. Let's go Buffalo!

Rabbit season!!

If there was ever a Must Win in the history of this season, it's this.

It's going to be a long day.  4 hours into a GDT and we have 8 replies.

I bet people are real busy running around as if the world is coming to an end, but it's just Christmas time.

Our early morning junket to the farmers market was a success.  We got there about 15 minutes before they opened the doors (8 AM) and the parking lot was nearly empty.  We thought that they may have postponed / delayed due to the wind and rain.  Nope.  Went for a nice breakfast afterwards and home by 10.

The last part is a bit off topic, but I started the thread.

Anyway, as always ...

MUST WIN!!

GO SABRES!!

Yet another back to back game.

Ducks will be trying to salvage their road trip.  We need to come out fast and build a lead.

Very big game for us to get back on track.

Would like to see us score a whole bunch of goals for Christmas.   Santa, are you listening?

Didn't watch too much of last nights game... once I heard the Caps announcers I couldn't stomach listening to the game.

NBCSN is dead to me for this.

Will miss part of tonight's game.. (yep, kid has a game).  Oh well, spending time with family is more important anyway.

Let's Go Buffalo.  Time for a win.

Guhle back to Rochester

No point in him being up as the 8th or 9th healthy D-man (depending upon whether Beaulieu's ready to go).

Hopefully the brief stint with the Sabres & the quicker pace of play has him picking up his play in Ra-cha-cha.

If they don’t win tonight it will be followed by the ‘airing of the grievances’.

Being brought up last year had the opposite effect - he returned to Rochester and never played as well as he had been. Maybe this will reverse that?

All the teams right behind them are playing better than Buffalo. Maybe i should say 8th is the hope instead of missing out altogether....

That's the hope.  And with him being a year older & understanding the process better, he SHOULD be able to handle going back down better than he did.

Lowered expectations are sometimes more realistic.
