Good on them for going for the 4-1 (and stocking up on +/-). I only saw the last 15 of the third period -- so... a winnable game was won in regulation. That's the key. Keep stockpiling these points and let the chips fall where they may.

Good win and good game. Arizona had a good push in the second and Buffalo I thought attacked well in the 3rd. Jack continues to get points but FINALLY Mitts line did something. If they start playing like that more often we might have something here.

Which is where the self-awareness comes in.  That team can't have been stupid to the fact that they were there to suck.  I get that they had pride and did thier best, but any representative of a business in the field of entertainment telling the paying customers they're doing it wrong need to look inward.

At this point I'm pretty confident with who we are. We are a 90+ point team with with poor scoring depth, a very active and solid defense, great goaltending, and a stellar 1st line. And I'm pretty freaking happy with that
