The Buffalo Sabres take on the Flyers tonight in a pre Thanksgiving Turkey throwdown. The Flyers may be on a 3 game slide but they took the Lightning to OT so they have some skill and they will be hungry... for wins and not turkey. The Sabres on the other hand are on a 6 game win streak with more thrills and close calls than a michael bay movie. The Sabres need to finally start and finish a game strong as the goaltending shouldn't be depended on to save our stuffing every game. SO grab the cranberry sauce... or get sauced, you don't work tomorrow hopefully and settle in for 3 hours of the NBCS announcers making sweet love to the flyers who if they lose will only have lost because they missed their opportunities not because the Sabres are good.

I have friends coming up from the Washington DC area to catch tonights game (and Friday's game), so I hope the Sabres continue their winning streak. 

 

I on the other hand have Hamilton tickets at Shea's tonight so me and my wife are doing that and are going to have to miss the game. I think I am making the right choice, so if any of you hosers give me ***** you can pound sand. It's Hamilton FFS!!!

Thanks Dark for those video's and blast from the past. Forgot just how much fun that was... 

I can't wait to watch tonight and see how this team responds to success.

Has it gone to their heads yet or are they still that little engine that could, keep plugging, playing your game and flatten these Flyers.

If Gudas takes any liberties as he has been known to do I want some old time hockey just like those video's. 

I would like to see Bogo take that guy and flatten him..

Scandella is now off the ice as well, he limped down the hallway with a trainer per Vogle/Yerdon/Hamilton/Hoppe.

 

Pilut time? I'd bet they just play Baloo, but...the Amerks don't play tonight and are off until Friday.

I understand they're on a six game winning streak and sit near the top of the league standings, but for the sake of the fans and their perception of this team, this is a MUST WIN on home ice.

I was at the Barnaby Line Brawl game...

I can't remember which year they blasted the Flyers in the playoffs, but I was there, in a suite next to the Flyer families.

Some of the best games I have been to are the Sabres beating up the on the Flyers.

I won't be attending tonight, but I'll take the joy of watching on TV.

Let's Go Buffalo.
