Carter plays the puck well. But we don’t want him sauntering out on his barge to the blue line. Stay close to home and keep out the rebel pucks.

Milbury is like Millen. He destroyed a team and isn’t much of an announcer. But the team he destroyed is indifferent to me. Now... what disdain he has for the Sabres? That irks me. 6. 8 when he’s being toolier than normal.

Nice first period. It looks like the Sabres know how big of a game this is and are treating it as such. Solid team hustle creating chances. TB is good though - you can see how quickly they take away time and space.
