The players have to appreciate that.  A standing ovation for their effort.  Hopefully this motivates them to continue playing for that type of response from the fans.  The Sabres never stopped playing.  Loved it!!

Despite the ups and downs so far, they've managed to win the two most meaningful games of the season: the "3 game win streak" game against Montreal, and the home celebration for Pommers today. 

These are games of significance that they've lost in previous seasons.
