And it's on Eichel to change that on the ice right now, tonight. He needs to lead by example with his effort and attitude.

He needs to produce. He was never supposed to be an "effort guy." That's a Buffalo thing. For Eichel to not even be a top 50 offensive player in his fourth year is really disappointing.

Arghh, why are we standing around and watching instead of initiating....

I'm trying to remain positive. Sheary made a good defensive play to save a potential tip-in, Skinner anticipated the play at the blue line and intercepted a pass.

How am I doing?

Let's Go Buffalo!

Good....as long as you don't think about Risto standing behind the net with the puck for the last 15 sec of the PP.

Why in all that is holy is Berglund’s Line out there for the end of period?

Because at least they are possessing the puck even if that can't do anything offensively well. Gotta start somewhere baby steps.... build off that..

Berglund’s Line has given up no shots while Eichel’s gave up one shot against.

But which Line is more likely to score a goal?

I like that first PP unit.

Honestly, I can't see a first PP unit that has Eichel, Dahlin, Reinhart, Mittelstadt, and Skinner on it, in say a year or two, not being absolutely dynamite.

I went and got a beer in the time it took scandella to take that slapper

His release is comically slow.

At least he's not Laine.

Yeah I can't deny that however they can't play the whole game and the road team expects to typically have the home team come out and try and storm the gates. Save some of your best after weathering the storm is a philosophy many coaches use. So I expect they will get plenty of ice time 2nd and 3rd periods..
