DarthEbriate Posted October 22, 2018 Report Posted October 22, 2018 Let's tie this one up before the break. Quote
Scottysabres Posted October 22, 2018 Report Posted October 22, 2018 right off the corner. Skinner is going to net a couple tonight. Quote
matter2003 Posted October 22, 2018 Report Posted October 22, 2018 Sabres were the better team in that period Quote
Huckleberry Posted October 22, 2018 Report Posted October 22, 2018 of to bed, need my beautysleep ? Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 22, 2018 Report Posted October 22, 2018 Treading carefully, I'll just say that there are more looks and different options with Casey in that spot over his predecessor. He did a good job. So did Dahlin. Quote
... Posted October 22, 2018 Report Posted October 22, 2018 KO needs a vacation already. I have no other complaints about that period, though. It was good hockey from the Sabres. Actually, I do have an additional complaint: Samson needs to get the same jump in his step the other guys seem to have. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 22, 2018 Report Posted October 22, 2018 Let this be the game that getting scored on first isn't the death sentence for a team in a Sabres game! Quote
MODO Hockey Posted October 22, 2018 Report Posted October 22, 2018 Damn, good period but they have the luck on their side for sure Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 22, 2018 Report Posted October 22, 2018 (edited) I think we were decent in the offensive zone, but not as good as others think. And I think we were a little worse defensively than the Ducks were. We need to bury our chances in the 2nd. Edited October 22, 2018 by Randall Flagg Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted October 22, 2018 Report Posted October 22, 2018 I caught the last 10, I saw several penalties that were not called that would have been in games past. Flukey goal, just get the Puck to the net and things happen, no one's fault really, just bad luck Love Hutton moving the Puck, adds a dimension that allows us to not be hemmed back as long and easily. Get one jack! Samson, where are you? Quote
Scottysabres Posted October 22, 2018 Report Posted October 22, 2018 The Sabres are going to win. Just to much drive in their collective game tonight. Skinner nets 2, Jack 1 or 2 and Okposo mis-handles a breakaway that has Miller in a "WTF is he doing head cocked to one side like a confused dog" mode and dribbles in. 1 Quote

Andrew Amerk Posted October 22, 2018 Report Posted October 22, 2018 Whatever happened to Miller’s wifey? Havent seen her in anything lately. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 22, 2018 Report Posted October 22, 2018 I love how Dahlin is slowly trying more interesting things - you can feel him testing the waters more and more as the games go on. Such a fun part of the journey with a first overall pick 2 Quote
hockeyhound Posted October 22, 2018 Report Posted October 22, 2018 (edited) I'd like to see Larsson and Girgs get something going. What's going on? Absentee's When is the last time either of them scored a goal? Edited October 22, 2018 by hockeyhound Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted October 22, 2018 Report Posted October 22, 2018 Duffer weighing in on Risto stick controversy Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted October 22, 2018 Report Posted October 22, 2018 Skinner and Jack are great together. Get another winger that can play with them Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 22, 2018 Report Posted October 22, 2018 Phil needs to sit with our defensemen and drill into them that every single decision they make needs to have the priority of the puck landing on a Sabres player's stick, unless it's an obvious emergency and the puck just needs to get out. So often the teammates are there and open, but just clearing the zone is enough. And every time it happens, we get pinned in Quote
Brawndo Posted October 22, 2018 Report Posted October 22, 2018 Why did Scandella, with no pressure on him, rifle the puck around the boards into the Anaheim Zone and lose possession? Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 22, 2018 Report Posted October 22, 2018 (edited) Oh come on. The guy just fell down. Upon replay, ^not a good take Why did McCabe just stare at that? Edited October 22, 2018 by Randall Flagg Quote
