WildCard Posted October 20, 2018 Report Posted October 20, 2018 'how much discombobulated...how the hard....' Rob Ray is on an absolute heater today Mitts should shoot more. Wicked wrister Quote

That was a big shot block by Ristolainen near the left dot. Quote

Maybe it's too early for Rob. He may need a few pops before a game and the afternoon games don't allow that. 1 Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 20, 2018 Report Posted October 20, 2018 I think various "line" infractions should be treated uniformly, which is why I hate that you can challenge offsides but they're so lax on hitting the red line for icings. Teams deliberately ice the puck when under pressure, knowing what they're doing, and also do it when they miss a pass on accident, and the icings aren't treated differently. And that's more relevant/important to gameplay than a play that's already offsides. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 20, 2018 Report Posted October 20, 2018 Good save from Bogo. Need to pick up our play in the second. 1 Quote
Stoner Posted October 20, 2018 Report Posted October 20, 2018 That was quite a sweepout by Bogo. Quote
Tondas Posted October 20, 2018 Report Posted October 20, 2018 Bogo has saved 2 goals today. The last time that happened was........never. 1 Quote
WildCard Posted October 20, 2018 Report Posted October 20, 2018 I absolutely hate Housley's insistence on off balance wristers from the corners on the point. That works, what? 1/100 times? There has to be some other better option. Either send it down low or across to your partner Quote
ubkev Posted October 20, 2018 Report Posted October 20, 2018 Here I go again. I know I bitch about them not shooting, but then you have Nelson out there lobbing water balloons on net.... 1 Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 20, 2018 Report Posted October 20, 2018 I like that Skinner, Sheary, Pommers really want to get to the front of the net. All guys that came in from outside of the organization (with the obvious caveat for Pominville) Just now, WildCard said: I absolutely hate Housley's insistence on off balance wristers from the corners on the point. Stoner Posted October 20, 2018 Report Posted October 20, 2018 I hate the weak clear up the wall in the dying seconds. Larry got away with it. 1 Quote
Tondas Posted October 20, 2018 Report Posted October 20, 2018 Good period. Beggars can't be choosers. Quote

It's been obvious for awhile, I just figured at some point he'd learn. Unfortunately if I've learned one thing about Housley it's that he's a slow learner, if he does at all Edited October 20, 2018 by WildCard Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 20, 2018 Report Posted October 20, 2018 Moving to Jets/Coyotes for the intermission, and I had no idea the Jets were wearing thirds this season - they have that powder blue that reminds me of the Chargers a while back when LT was around Quote
hockeyhound Posted October 20, 2018 Report Posted October 20, 2018 O.K. scored a goal, wasn't pretty but, it's in the net and we have a lead going into the 3rd. Let's Go Buffalo! Quote

Randall Flagg Posted October 20, 2018 Report Posted October 20, 2018 I think @dudacek was onto something with Kyle. He's more useful down low using his shoulders for guys like Casey who have less strength right now than he is up above the net in a place you need playmaking and good/quick shooting to happen. That's why the 71-37-21 line has worked in their very brief time together. Quote
