I hope Beaulieu is o.k. because I thought he's been playing well this season.

Looked like he took one off the elbow. Didn't look good.

Scandy to the "Press Box"

They need to score another goal before they leave that ice tonight.

I don't think I'm going to be able to get over him throwing that same power play unit out there, all things considered.

I know.. but there’s a reason for it.  Or something.

that scandella penalty is vintage EASPORTS NHL

and a goal.

Risto, Scandy, and Elie really got this banger of a period starting off right getting stuck in their own zone and giving up five scoring chances, followed by no change to our PP unit that's 1/20 or punishing Okie who single-handedly lost his team the game with dumb penalties. Phil, this game is actually on you.

The simple fact that he hasn't put Dahlin on PP1 in place of okposo, is all I need to see for me to want Phil gone. He does not understand game awareness.... Okposo had point blank shot in the middle of the slot and missed the net, effectively killing any danger chances we had.

Risto and scandella are the worst 2 D men tonight and basically all season, I didn't think I'd say that at any point this year.

The effort was good, that's why it's a shame, but this loss is on okposo and the horrible special teams we have, it's really inexcusable at this point, get some new blood teaching these young guns before they are all ruined.

And move erod up!!!

It’s hard to believe Montreal and Ottawa look better than us.  Our offense is still just as inept as last year.

I think this is a topic  that's thread-worthy.

"We're fine, we fixed our depth, the locker room" gets said basically every offseason, and yet other teams that we sneer at condescendingly are stunningly better at offense than us. Year after year after year.

We need to start reevaluating the things that we look at and think are fine, especially in those sunny offseason days where everything is hunky dory.

Risto at 25 minutes per night, for a novel example. Jack and Reino together. Anything, really.

It’s quite shocking.  Montreal does even have a true #1 center, and yet produce more than our supposed studs.  Mittelstadt is virtually invisible all year.  Eichel invisible for nearly 3 games.  Wingers can’t score either.

Risto is a bloody dumbass.

He cruises along the bluelne, down three goals, while Dahlin has his stick up waiting for a one-timer. Finally Risto tosses it over, and by then the D has adjusted to cover it.

Guy is useless sometimes.
