Someones going to inherit a boatload of money. R.I.P. Paul Allen. He was a great tech pioneer and by all accounts a great owner of pro sports teams.

I read that his fortune was mostly committed to charity upon his passing.

No idea what Allen's situation was, but I have read that Jobs went the "let's use the power of crystals and positive thinking" route in treating his cancer.  With predictable results.

Actually Steve was 56, died in 2011, PA was 2 years older than Steve, dang time flies

Steve Jobs Cancer actually has a very good 5 year survival rate. He chose to forgo surgery and/or chemotherapy for herbal supplements, acupuncture and a special diet. Unfortunately by the time he wanted to try surgery, the cancer was too widespread.
