Stoner Posted October 12, 2018 Report Posted October 12, 2018 Rick's call was the topper on a lovely hockey evening. Quote
WanderingEye Posted October 12, 2018 Report Posted October 12, 2018 Rick Jeanneret had no idea that a goal was scored. 1 1 Quote

CallawaySabres Posted October 12, 2018 Report Posted October 12, 2018 Well it's not like they've actually played that great for the first three games. There has been a lot of ugly play and I think that there are plenty of rough times to come before this thing is turned around Quote
Stads Posted October 12, 2018 Report Posted October 12, 2018 So it's all Larsson's fault right? 1 1 Quote

thewookie1 Posted October 12, 2018 Report Posted October 12, 2018 Why was Jack on the other side of the PP Why was Larsson back? We ran out of juice by the end, we poured on pressure and had 0 luck and eventually we just wore out.  Nelson was a train wreck Quote

Toronto's Stars show up every single night, that is what I would love to happen here. Quote
Thorner Posted October 12, 2018 Report Posted October 12, 2018 A proper ass-whooping. Take what you can from it, and focus on putting together a good road trip. Hutton will bounce back. 1 Quote

Randall Flagg Posted October 12, 2018 Report Posted October 12, 2018 We have two lines running at what you'd want from that line in the NHL (1st, 4th) so far, and Skinner basically alone on one of the middle ones. We need to jumpstart those other lines so that they're scoring when everyone else is hitting posts and having goals called back. The score doesn't phase me, you give up breakaways when the game is out of reach and you're trying to claw back within it. Total meh. This loss doesn't feel deflating in the same way that the early ones did last year. They weren't clicking or playing well, and weren't getting bounces at the same time. It happens. Go dominate the Yotes, please. This road stretch will set the tone for the season. 1 Quote
Gatorman0519 Posted October 12, 2018 Report Posted October 12, 2018 That was disheartening... the western road trip could sink us once again early and we'll be saying "lose for Hughes" by thanksgiving lol Quote
MODO Hockey Posted October 12, 2018 Report Posted October 12, 2018 This looked like the home opener kind of, jesus did we get run over today. Ullmark vs Arizona, that is the only thing that is for sure after this useless effort by Sabres Good night ? Quote

Stads Posted October 12, 2018 Report Posted October 12, 2018 At least Dahlin got a point. That's something. Yay. Quote
