bob_sauve28 Posted October 4, 2018 Report Posted October 4, 2018 Bruins playing like they got beat bad last night Quote
SABRES 0311 Posted October 4, 2018 Report Posted October 4, 2018 Hearing some boos already. 11to 6 SOG in favor of Bos Quote
Trettioåtta Posted October 4, 2018 Report Posted October 4, 2018 Very familiar period. We get into their zone - knock it around the perimeter until we either get knocked off the puck or we take a point shot that goes wide and they clear it Quote

Randall Flagg Posted October 4, 2018 Report Posted October 4, 2018 Dahlin was the least-nervous Sabre on the ice that whole time. 2 Quote
Radar Posted October 4, 2018 Report Posted October 4, 2018 I liked the first five minutes or so then things went off the rails. Quote
LTS Posted October 4, 2018 Report Posted October 4, 2018 Booing the team. Sad.. You know who sucks? The fans. They couldn't even be in their seats to start the game. The damn arena was half-empty during the player introductions. Already seeing people on here turning on the team again... more of the same. 2 Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 4, 2018 Report Posted October 4, 2018 We just need to get that first peeper before Boston scores again. Game's far from over. Quote

Randall Flagg Posted October 4, 2018 Report Posted October 4, 2018 Rodrigues is the best fourth liner the team has had in years Quote

I think sheary wasn't to bad at all either, did some nice back checks in the middle of the ice. Not a fan of our top heavy 1st line vs the bruins. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted October 4, 2018 Report Posted October 4, 2018 How we doing? - Same as always. That bad, huh? 1 Quote

I said this morning they would be giving up after tonight. Well only after one period . And we brag about our fan base? Quote

I hear you, but at the end of the day, the Sabres are the party providing the product. The onus falls to them to provide a product or service that satisfies the paying consumer. Can't blame the consumer for being skeptical. Edited October 4, 2018 by Thorny Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 4, 2018 Report Posted October 4, 2018 I get being upset at the two goal deficit, but it felt to me like the Sabres controlled the puck more than the Bruins did. Sometimes that happens. We don't have nearly enough hockey to be making broad-swath conclusions about the fate of this season 20 minutes into it. 1 Quote

Ah man, you don't boo the team after the 1st period of the 1st home game. That is deflating for any team. 2 Quote
MODO Hockey Posted October 5, 2018 Report Posted October 5, 2018 Regroup, 1st period of the season is over. They got to put on more speed second, shoot more and most of all prove the booing nuubs wrong Quote
SwampD Posted October 5, 2018 Report Posted October 5, 2018 Some good chances. Look good in the d zone at times. Look bad at times. even with the score, if it weren't for all hose stupid, cute little passes at the blue line entering the zone, I kinda liked what I saw. NOW FN SCORE A GD GOAL!!!! IM SO FN SICK OF WATCHING MY TEAMS NOT DO TGE ONE FN THING THEY ARE TRYING TO DO!!!!! Quote

darksabre Posted October 5, 2018 Report Posted October 5, 2018 People who complain about the fans are the worst. The Sabres could just play better and the problem would solve itself. Am I supposed to only say nice things? Or am I allowed to be frustrated that Jack, for all his talent, is right back to making the same dumb plays? 2 Quote
