Chris223 Posted October 5, 2018 Report Posted October 5, 2018 I mean, Eichel was supposed to be this like... once in a generation talent right? Quote

Randall Flagg Posted October 5, 2018 Report Posted October 5, 2018 (edited) I might be wrong, But it took me just a little bit of work to come to the conclusion that Sobotka is not a late-game net-pulled player, and yet we're seeing him out there with the dominant lines. Eichel, Risto, Dahlin, Sam, Skinner(Ithink), Sobotka? Since my biggest problem with Phil is that I don't think he knows what he has in his players, that is bothersome to me. hockeyhound Posted October 5, 2018 Report Posted October 5, 2018 At least it wasn't 7-0. A Sabres player dropped the gloves? Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted October 5, 2018 Report Posted October 5, 2018 McAvoy downs Sobotka in .5 seconds. Quote

PromoTheRobot Posted October 5, 2018 Report Posted October 5, 2018 38 seconds 6-on-4. Can Boston score? Yes they did. Quote

WanderingEye Posted October 5, 2018 Report Posted October 5, 2018 I thought Sobotka's hit was fine. I'm not sure what the Bruins were so mad about. Whatever. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted October 5, 2018 Report Posted October 5, 2018 So... do we respond as well to our drubbing as Boston did to theirs? That’s my only takeaway for game 2. Quote
SABRES 0311 Posted October 5, 2018 Report Posted October 5, 2018 Lololololololololol. 81 more to go. Quote

Iron Crotch Posted October 5, 2018 Report Posted October 5, 2018 So when you have the lowest scoring team in hockey... the only team in the league not to score 200 goals last season... and then you trade two of your top four scorers from an already offensive-starved team, is it really surprising that we struggled offensively? PromoTheRobot Posted October 5, 2018 Report Posted October 5, 2018 Well they sucked me into renewing my tickets. I deserve this. Quote

Gatorman0519 Posted October 5, 2018 Report Posted October 5, 2018 Different players same result... lifeless, passionless, boring, uncompetitive snoozer. Ristolainen was the only player tonight that showed heart. Quote
Thorner Posted October 5, 2018 Report Posted October 5, 2018 To not score a single goal in your home-opener, after all that talk, against a backup goalie on a team on a back to back, is a little disheartening. That doesn't mean it's a chicken little situation but, it's still frustrating optics. 2 Quote
Tom Backyard Posted October 5, 2018 Report Posted October 5, 2018 If I heard Ray correctly, Chara became the all time most penalized Buffalo opponent tonight. What a villain! Quote
