I agree it loses significance to the general public, but to family members it is probably a really nice honor.  Would love for my Dad to be honored that way though I doubt he would do it. He has and never has ben about personal public displays... his choice.  But we know what that cagy vet is all about.  He truly is and was Superman... still working at 84 because he will only sit still the day he dies.
