That Aud Smell Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 Nice work by Asplund on that first goal. Quote
Mustache of God Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 Is the stream playing? I feel like i've been hearing 10 minutes of commericals on the radio.com app Quote
Mustache of God Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 Just refreshed the page....seems like I got caught in an ad-loop...that was annoying. Quote
LGR4GM Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 I will say that Laaskonen has been growing on me. He needs work still but I see why they drafted him more and more. Quote

It helps that those early reports of him being 4 foot 10 and 97 pounds weren't correct haha He definitely looks like at least a 3rd rounder versus what I was picturing when I heard we drafted him 1 Quote
LGR4GM Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 Rasmus Asplund, did a thing https://twitter.com/Ben_Mathewson/status/1039198526281003009 Quote
dudacek Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 Really interested in seeing what Asplund does against men, because down here he looks like Patrice Bergeron. Even with a reduced lineup, the Sabres are on another level versus this Pittsburgh group. 1 Quote

Eleven Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 Asplund is having a very nice game so far. I've gotta keep in mind that he's only playing against other prospects. Quote
Mustache of God Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 Is anyone having trouble with the radio.com stream? I've heard about 45 minutes of commercials interspersed with hearing brief snippets of Paul Hamilton. I feel like i'm losing my mind right now. Quote
That Aud Smell Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 Lol at the Penguin prospect coming into the frame/play on his knees. https://twitter.com/BuffaloSabres/status/1039205815171702784 Quote

You have some serious issues with radio.com! Quote
pi2000 Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 They look good today, playing fast, lots of scoring chances, they're making PIT look slow. Mittlestadt is creating chances left and right, just hasn't been rewarded yet. He's definitely stepped up his play. Quote

The Sabres are lacking offense from their bottom 6. Replacing Larsson with Asplund would help solve that problem IMO. 1 Quote

dudacek Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 I love Casey’s competitiveness, but I think he’d be more effective today if he took a deep breath. 1 Quote
Eleven Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 Lukkonen tried that backhand in the second and got away with it, but as the announcer said at the time, you don't want to do that too many times. Quote
sodbuster Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 Nylander and Mitts seem to have a little bit of chemistry. Quote
Eleven Posted September 10, 2018 Report Posted September 10, 2018 (edited) Asplund is killing it. Slick Mitts is killing it. Even Nylander is looking great. Edited September 10, 2018 by Eleven Quote
