That's all well and good.  Now go to work 82 days in a row.  Hell I'll settle for 75 and work in a couple days off.

Off-season workout/rehab = the natural habitat of the Bogosian.

So you were the guy to whom Bogosian was replying?

But is anyone here saying that he needs to be working harder? I don't think that's the case. We bitch that he's always hurt, sure. But I don't really think that it's an issue of his training or preparation.

Work smarter maybe?

While the first-year GM, whose team was the first in NHL history to finish in 31st place, addressed several issues, he made a point of talking about players being in better condition come next season.

"That’s one of the things that we challenged our players (on) over the last couple of days," Botterill said. "One of the things that they can control is how they work out over the summer, how they train over the summer, because we can’t have the man games lost that we had this year. That’s something we can control, and we need to do that over the summer. So it is a situation where I believe we can have better results next year by changing certain things.”

Players responding like this to random fan opinions is a telling sign about the player himself.

Yeah, I hate players who stick up for themselves.  I prefer walkovers.

Agreed. Extremely insecure. Or needy of attention. Honestly, who is Zack Bogosion to talk smack with a fan? He's another vestige of the Lost Years that this franchise should shake off.

Are there situations where it is acceptable to talk smack to a fan?

Probably not. But some guys can do it without getting eye-rolled. Connor McClavicle gets a pass if someone challenges his hockey.

I'm sure I wouldn't be able to make it.  But, oh "weekend warrior", please work on conditioning more than anything.  You've broken down from so many varying injuries you're but the cliche of "overpaid high draft status" as there has ever been.  That saying, I don't dislike you as a person or the "type" of game you play Zach.  JUST STAY HEALTHY.
