So an AHL-only deal means he can't play in the NHL unless the Sabres buy his contract?

I know nothing of this player other than the fact that the Twitterverse is fired up because he does fun things on the ice and is apparently very funny off of it.

He loves the game and he loves Buffalo. I hope a year in Rochester goes well for him.

Yes. Glotov is probably an AHL only guy for his career. At the very least we are talking 2-3 years in Rochester.

I like how he says he's trying to lead "the young guys" since he's at his third camp.  He also says he's just trying to enjoy himself when asked where he expects to play this year, then says his ultimate goal is the NHL.  It sounds like he's taking nothing for granted, just enjoying the ride.

I enjoyed his game at the 3v3...... Hope he brings the same energy to Rochester.

I'm glad, doubt he'll become anything huge but I hope he can carve out a career with the Amerks and stick around after his career ends. Guy just oozes personality and genuine love for the game and even the city of Buffalo.

My guess is ECHL.

I really hope he turns it up in Rochester and can earn himself an NHL contract. He reminds me of Max Afinogenov with a better Drive and better finish. Here's hoping. He's very fun to watch and just a good dude.

Him and Pekar on a line should be fun to watch and interview after a game..

Pekar and Glotov, hope they both make it.... they seem like super fun locker room characters, keep the guys loose and whatnot when things are tough.    Buffalo seems to have a serious void of those types currently.
