Not surprising. The Democrats used to be the party of unions, now they are the party of universities, big pharma, insurance companies and the military industrial complex. Obama, Biden, and Harris are just a bunch of corporate puppets, just like Pelosi.

First, economic impacts lag 1-2 years after an influencing action. So, when you see something you like or don't like you need to go back 1-2 years to look at the action that precipitated the change.

This often leads to people blaming the current governmental regime when in fact they are inheriting the issues created by the prior regime. People naturally can't extend their minds to consider that because we live in a society dominated by the here and now.  No one wants to look into the past or plan for the future. It's all about what is happening now and then extrapolating back as far as yesterday for the reason why.  Then, tomorrow, when the latest TikTok dance comes out everyone will forget what they were talking about today.

Politicians are generally ALL corporate puppets. There is no real political difference between democrats and republicans when it comes to actual impacts on the country. They both cause the same issues just from slightly different angles. They all serve money interests on a global scale and not the interests of the people who comprise the country they are leading.

The make believe world you reference, and was addressed, was a massive impact from COVID.  A globally impacting socio-economic event of unheard of proportions. An event of that magnitude will have a greater impact on more economically advanced countries than not and the US navigated it fairly well. Not great.

Why do you believe this?  The Trump regime unilaterally imposed tariffs the first go round. What evidence exists that it would not happen again?  Trump has been even more outlandish and outspoken this time around. He's made dozens of mandate level statements that reek of a dictator mentality. The only people Donald Trump will protect are those who fund his lifestyle.

The rest of the people on the entire planet are irrelevant to him.

Can you tell me Trumps policies you agree with? Also whenever anyone asks him about policies he goes off on a rant. I have heard countless interviews with him and he cannot actually give an answer. A few times on the Joe Rogan show, Joe had to tell him to try and stay on the topic as he went off on a "weave" is what he calls it.

 

I just feel like he talks in a way to keep people thinking about everything but the actual problems in this country. He tries to keep his voters angry so they don't actually ask any questions about how things are going to get done, they just seem to think it will magically happen if he becomes president.

This is what I talk about with people. Politics is not about policies with lots of voters, it's more about if they hate a person or not. Politics have been reduced to the lowest common denominator and are no longer about what the country needs. It's about hate.

 

Trump plays right into that hate and fuels it into his voters.

All I know is that in Florida Andrew Gillam was referred to as Obama 2.0. He was 30,000 votes short of beating DeSantis for Governor of Florida. Couple months later he was doing meth in a hotel with some male escort. Lot of these conspiracy theories have turned out to be true.  Easy to blackmail people thanks to our government illegally collecting everyone's information.  

Donald Trump tried to overthrow the last election. He stole top secret gov documents and lied about having them. He's settled multiple rape and sexual assault cases. He cheated on every wife he's had. He's gone bankrupt multiple times. 

But you think he's fit to run the country.

Trump's conviction is going to be overturned. The appeals court laughed at the state of NY. Shockingly they won't overturn it until after the election.  Yes, you can vote as long as you are not in prison. 

It's funny that so far, there has been only one network that actually admitted in court to providing fake news.
