I haven't been able to watch the NBA since Isaiah Thomas held James Dolan hostage. The last time I watched hoop, the Knicks were good. Ward, Houston, Spree, LJ, Camby and Ewing. And that just goes to show you how much more I like hockey than basketball. Because the sabres aren't any better than the Knicks, and I keep on watching them! 1 Quote
LGR4GM Posted October 31, 2018 Report Posted October 31, 2018 I spy 2 Sabres defensemen on that list. Quote

Mikko Kokkonen is 2019 draft eligible; we drafted Miska Kukkonen last year. (Crazy Finnish names...) Laaksonen's development has been nice to see though, especially when he was initially reported as like 5'7" and 100 pounds when we drafted him. Quote
Robviously Posted October 31, 2018 Report Posted October 31, 2018 (edited) Update: Oskari just scored his 2nd goal of the season. Check out his hat in the gif: https://twitter.com/ilveshockey/status/1057702295859838976 Edited October 31, 2018 by Robviously Quote

The rest of the team is in blue helmets, remember many of the European leagues have the leading point getter wear a gold helmet to stand out to the crowd. Quote

The first guy to congratulate him did have the gold helmet. So there's at least three different ones out there. I feel like I'm watching a youth hockey clip. 1 Quote
North Buffalo Posted November 1, 2018 Report Posted November 1, 2018 Most had dark maybe black helmets except gold one and Laaksonen’s blue one... is Laaks a Captain or Asst Cap? Quote
Robviously Posted November 18, 2018 Report Posted November 18, 2018 Oskari Laaksonen scored again. That’s 3 goals and 10 assists in 21 games in Finland’s top league. Not bad for a guy who turns 20 in July. 1 Quote
Robviously Posted November 18, 2018 Report Posted November 18, 2018 Rasmus Asplund has his first AHL goal on a breakaway this afternoon. Hopefully many more to come this year! That said, Amerks trail 3-1 to start the 3rd and it’s been a miserable weekend for them thus far. Quote
Brawndo Posted November 18, 2018 Report Posted November 18, 2018 Pilut makes it 3-2. He has 21 points and Nylander gets the assist for his 14th. Quote
Brawndo Posted November 18, 2018 Report Posted November 18, 2018 O’Regan with the tying goal. Asplund with the assist Redmond makes it 4-3 Amerks 2 Quote
North Buffalo Posted November 18, 2018 Report Posted November 18, 2018 Amerks following in Sabres footsteps nice! Quote

The other day he had an awful night...I don't know Guhle's actual plus-minus for the game, but it seemed like he was on the ice for 3 or 4 goals against. Quote
