steveoath Posted February 21, 2019 Report Posted February 21, 2019 Won't be surprised to see Borgen up next season. He looked decent at the pre season tourney. Need some steel! Quote

Dahlin will get there with another 20 lbs, need a couple of forwards with some moxie and strength. Jack has the size but plays like a primo... maybe Mitts and Tage will grow into it, but really cant think of a forward that can do both. Tampa has 3-4 forward guys who do. inkman Posted February 23, 2019 Report Posted February 23, 2019 Amerks win 4-3 in OT Redmond with the game winner and a 3 point game. Asplund and Olofsson with 2 point games. Remi Elie with a goal. Quote
Scottysabres Posted February 23, 2019 Report Posted February 23, 2019 Redmond, does he get an NHL contract from the Sabres Ink? Or is he heading for the coaching route? Quote

He's 30 and only broken out offensively the last 2 seasons. I doubt he gets much of a sniff, unless they throw him a bone like last season on a tryout deal for a few games. The Amerks season ends 10 days after the Sabres so there may be some room in there. 1 Quote
dudacek Posted February 23, 2019 Report Posted February 23, 2019 Like most, I thought Remi Elie was a non-factor with the Sabres. Looked like an NHL skater without NHL hands or head. He was also a 40th overall pick who has 4 goals and 7 points with the Amerks. The Sabres had other "filler' players on their roster, yet they put in a claim, so they probably thought he has an NHL shot. Does he? Quote
