pi2000 Posted January 5, 2019 Report Posted January 5, 2019 Call up Nylander, he's earned a look. That or trade him as part of a larger package for Tarasenko or Duchene. Or leave him where he is and see if he can find some consistentency before calling him up. 1 Quote

Sabre1974 Posted January 6, 2019 Report Posted January 6, 2019 I would bring nylander up. Felt he should have been on the roster from the start of the season. But my feeling now is Botts will see out the season with what we have and make changes again in the summer. Quote
pi2000 Posted January 6, 2019 Report Posted January 6, 2019 I expect call ups after the All-Star break. Nylander first, then Aslpund maybe Olofsson for the last dozen games or so. Maybe even guys like Malone who they seem to be developing into a checking type center might help the bottom 6... But not until late in the season if the playoffs are out of reach. Quote

My eye test says the same. For those who believe you must have a pick, player and a prospect to get something in return, Pilut may make Scandella and Guehle expendable come trade deadline. https://apple.news/AkEbDGfPKSm- I would also add that Smith has not been great but better than Elie in a much smaller sample size.
