I really thought Borgen was solid all night. Paetsch was in the lineup though and his best hockey years are waaaay behind him. 

I missed Porter and his back check last night. 

I really missed Dalton Smith last night though. His stats(besides PIM of course) don’t suggest that he is bringing a lot but that dude brings so much fire to the ice.

Maybe they can hire Berglund as a skills coach to work with the swedes after practice.

People are screaming for a callup from the Amerks, but there really isn’t anyone on the current roster who is NHL-ready. 

Maybe Nylander will play better in the NHL than he does in the AHL, which in a different lifetime, seemed to me to be how Pomminstein was.

No one in Roch calls it Roch. Probably because it's too close to crotch. Also, you can use the much cooler sounding ROC.

I've heard a few people from the area call it crotchfester. I've been there a few times though and my fun bits are still in presentable condition. Guess it's a good thing I wore pants on my visits.

Yeah and Crapchester, the 585, the R O C but never Roch. The first time I heard it was Rob Ray, then Andrew Peters so I figured it was a weird Canadian thing but to hear people around hear using it blows my mind. Seems completely foreign.

Botterill's strategy is definitely to leave these guys in Rochester if at all possible, particularly the forwards. We don't have a single healthy scratch forward on the roster right now. 

Beaulieu and Hunwick scratched on D (for a 22 man roster rather than 23), then Pominville, Nelson, and Wilson on IR.

Slow sports night I suppose, so Fox Sports Ohio is televising the Amerks-Monsters game. I stumbled upon it while scrolling through the guide. I honestly thought they were wearing ugly Christmas sweaters ? The color schemes are wayyyy too similar. This is brutal to watch.
