Absolutey that was a pass. Sweet Jebus.

I don’t think it was. Thought it was at first but I believe McDavid.

This is like last year when LeBron dribbled begins his back between a player’s legs. He never intended for the move to go that far but it just happened

Difference is LeBron will tell you he meant that and planned it the night before

IDK. Once he "realizes" that he "whiffed" on the shot, he never looks to see where the puck is. He just looks to the net to see if the guy he passed it scored or not. Just my take.

Long time ago. Why?

(FTR, I forgot almost everything about it. I thought is was really stupid and not well written, but because a guy who killed someone read it, it was supposed to be something special.)

Your quote just reminds me of all those books where the author says there's no deeper meaning but people find a way to convince themselves there is. Catcher in the Rye is usually mocked for all of it's meanings people have derived from it

Ignoring the lame shade LeBron’s play was a higher degree of difficulty (and then he went and finished and and-one with a lot of contact immediately after.

McDavid really is on a LeBron trajectory in his own sport, though. Not sure McDavid can quite reach GOAT status.

I agree about the book. Still think it was an intended pass, though.

Except McDavid will stay with Edmonton his whole career instead of ditching them for Toronto

Possibly. We’ll see if he can deliver a championship. Also, it’d be more like McDavid going to like Washington in five years.

That's what I was confused about. I'm still not sure, but if he lost the puck I would picture him locking the breaks and turning back to try to pokecheck it, or at the very least looking back to see what happened to the puck he lost.

I've been going back and forth on that one.  His head does turn slightly.  I can't really tell though if that's a glance towards the puck or not.
