From what's been reported it sounds like the alumni in Edmonton run the show there. That's not to say Chiarelli isn't an idiot, because he's 100% earned that right, but things in Edmonton are rotten straight to the core, and there's no hope of it ever getting better
Weave Posted December 31, 2018 Report Posted December 31, 2018 In defense of Edmonton, reportedly McDavid signed off on the trade before it was finalized. There shouldn't be hard feelings.

There shouldn't be hard feelings. Did it say he signed off on the trade itself or just acquiring Manning? After all it would seem odd to me that McDavid would want his friend traded for a guy he isn't too fond of.

Sabres Fan in NS Posted December 31, 2018 Report Posted December 31, 2018 Do they have much of a winter in Dallas? No, really. I don't think this is a good idea. What's next? Miami?

JJFIVEOH Posted January 2, 2019 Report Posted January 2, 2019 Well, Fort Lauderdale does have a temporary ice rink set up downtown for at least a month during the holidays. Not like it's professional quality, but it is possible. Tons of tourists around the holidays, could be a huge turnout if the Panthers played the Leaves.
