LGR4GM Posted November 13, 2018 Report Posted November 13, 2018 (edited) Debrusk isn't too shabby but Zachary Shenyshyn was one of the worst first round picks ever with the talent left on the board. Kyle Connor, Matthew Barazal, Thomas Chabot were the next 3 picks. Just brutal by Boston. Edited November 13, 2018 by LGR4GM
IKnowPhysics Posted November 13, 2018 Report Posted November 13, 2018 I was there for that. Everyone was mystified and confusion quickly turned to anger for Bruins fans. Hillllllarrrrious. Didn't quite outdo the Eli Manning trade announcement though. Everything was swell until after the trade announcement started at 8:49 until the full terms at 9:17... Crowd: YEAAHHHHHHH [and their 1st and 3rd round picks in next year's draft] AWWWWBOOOOOOOOOO

On a more upbeat note, CBS’s NHL rankings had Buffalo move up 11 spots to #8 in their power rankings. 1
That Aud Smell Posted November 14, 2018 Report Posted November 14, 2018 I reckon so. That guy's ability to keep that team churning seems like a form of black magic.
Doohicksie Posted November 14, 2018 Report Posted November 14, 2018 In CBS Sports' latest power ranking, the Sabres moved up from #19 to #8... but they're still behind 4 other divisional rivals in the rankings.

Hoss Posted November 14, 2018 Report Posted November 14, 2018 (edited) Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger now Sources say Tanner Pearson is going to the Penguins. Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie now Hagelin for Pearson. One for one. Done deal. Edited November 14, 2018 by Hoss
North Buffalo Posted November 14, 2018 Report Posted November 14, 2018 Interesting. Guess the guins feel they need a little more muscle..

They've felt that way for a long time. The Kings can definitely use the speed. On paper, looks like a trade that should work for both teams.
Hoss Posted November 14, 2018 Report Posted November 14, 2018 This is a cap dump for the Kings. They’ve got essentially zero cap coming off the books after this year. This gets them an expiring deal to flip at the deadline and clears Pearson’s salary.
LGR4GM Posted November 14, 2018 Report Posted November 14, 2018 Rumor is Toffoli is available as well.
