darksabre Posted May 24, 2018 Report Posted May 24, 2018 I need this series to be over before my next month of YouTube TV bills.
Winston Posted May 24, 2018 Report Posted May 24, 2018 TV schedule looks like: NBC NBCSN NBCSN NBC NBC NBC NBC
LTS Posted May 24, 2018 Report Posted May 24, 2018 Go Caps! My wife has a cousin who lives in that area and is a fan (they were at one point STH for the Caps, not sure if they still are). Be nice to see their kids cheering a win by their team. Also, it helps all the Knights haters feel better about themselves. :)
nfreeman Posted May 24, 2018 Report Posted May 24, 2018 Despite my strong distaste for DC, I found myself rooting for the Caps last night and will likely do so in the Finals. Related point: there is a Caps fan blog with a great (IMHO) name: "Russian Machine Never Breaks."
pi2000 Posted May 24, 2018 Report Posted May 24, 2018 Two days off between all but 2 games? This is going to take forever. Way to it up NHL.
LGR4GM Posted May 24, 2018 Author Report Posted May 24, 2018 Might not be all over until basically 3 weeks from yesterday... way too long.
Weave Posted May 24, 2018 Report Posted May 24, 2018 Might just watch this. Two compelling stories IMO. I can’t say i have a favorite. Tom Wilson might be villian enough to convince me to have a favorite tho.
WildCard Posted May 24, 2018 Report Posted May 24, 2018 Season Series: Vegas 4 : Washington 3, February 4th Washington 0 : Vegas 3, December 23rd
Thorner Posted May 24, 2018 Report Posted May 24, 2018 Seemingly every year they put in a bunch of extra off days between the finals games. Unlike every other round. It’s annoying.
WildCard Posted May 24, 2018 Report Posted May 24, 2018 Maybe a poll to see who everyone wants to win?

inkman Posted May 24, 2018 Report Posted May 24, 2018 At least I can start watching hockey again. My new channel lineup doesn't include the golf channel or the food network or where ever they were broadcast.
Doohicksie Posted May 24, 2018 Report Posted May 24, 2018 At least I can start watching hockey again. My new channel lineup doesn't include the golf channel or the food network or where ever they were broadcast. You don't get NBCSN?
Beer Posted May 24, 2018 Report Posted May 24, 2018 I wouldn’t mind seeing Ovi raise the cup. He’s the best winger of his generation by far. The SC would add to his legitimacy and legacy. On the other hand, LV winning would be quite the story. A bunch of cast offs with chips on their shoulder. This also goes to show how important a goalie is. Fleury is no joke.
inkman Posted May 24, 2018 Report Posted May 24, 2018 You don't get NBCSN? No I also pay $100 less per month than at any time within the last decade. I have all the channels I need. If the NHL continues to put their product on a station that is in limited households, I won't watch.

He is close to having the same save % as Giguere had during his run. I'd like for Ovi to win one though, but couldn't care who wins this one.
Thorner Posted May 24, 2018 Report Posted May 24, 2018 How many goalies have won cups starting for 2 teams? I’m sure there’s a few, but I can only think of Roy. Fleury punches his ticket to the HHOF with a win, I’m thinking.

JujuFish Posted May 25, 2018 Report Posted May 25, 2018 Go Caps. No way do I want to see Vegas win the cup in their first season when we haven't won one in nearly half a century of existence.
dudacek Posted May 25, 2018 Report Posted May 25, 2018 (edited) Roy and Vernon are the only ones since expansion. Original six days it probably wasn’t as uncommon but I can’t quickly find a list. Terry Sawchuk won with the Leafs and Wings. Edited May 25, 2018 by dudacek
