ubkev Posted May 16, 2018 Report Posted May 16, 2018 Jack, get on that cybex machine that strengthens ankles!
Randall Flagg Posted May 16, 2018 Report Posted May 16, 2018 That looks bad for your wrists. Also, what's a Boston kid doing wearing a Lakers shirt?
LGR4GM Posted May 16, 2018 Author Report Posted May 16, 2018 That looks bad for your wrists. Also, what's a Boston kid doing wearing a Lakers shirt? His at a friend's house in LA
GASabresIUFAN Posted May 16, 2018 Report Posted May 16, 2018 What’s up with the stuffed animals (or very relaxed dogs)? Why isn’t he using the Captain America weights?
Stoner Posted May 16, 2018 Report Posted May 16, 2018 "I still got it." So he's where he was last offseason maybe? Slacker.
inkman Posted May 16, 2018 Report Posted May 16, 2018 That looks bad for your wrists. I'm not a clean and jerk expert  but that excersize looks dangerous to all sorts of body parts. Glad he's working out, not sure why there is a video of it.
LGR4GM Posted May 16, 2018 Author Report Posted May 16, 2018 "I still got it." So he's where he was last offseason maybe? Slacker. Or he's working out a with a friend he hasn't worked out with in 4 years saying things "I still got it" because it is a joke about them 4 years ago.
That Aud Smell Posted May 16, 2018 Report Posted May 16, 2018 "I still got it." So he's where he was last offseason maybe? Slacker. Lol. I suspect he doesn't work out in that manner during the season. Or he's working out a with a friend he hasn't worked out with in 4 years saying things "I still got it" because it is a joke about them 4 years ago. Or maybe at all when he's not with this buddy of his.
Randall Flagg Posted May 16, 2018 Report Posted May 16, 2018 I've read some paragraphs from NHL nutritionists/personal trainers, and many of them tell their clients to just sleep as much as they can and eat as well as they can for the first few weeks after the season ends before they get into their offseason workout, and then they start ramping up and rebuilding what the hockey season turns their muscle into back into muscle again. So I wouldn't be surprised if Jack is as "weak" as he ever is right now, but will be finely tuned as September is ending.
Stoner Posted May 16, 2018 Report Posted May 16, 2018 Or he's working out a with a friend he hasn't worked out with in 4 years saying things "I still got it" because it is a joke about them 4 years ago. I don't really care. I don't even see that much value in what he's doing there. I wonder how many of those Gretzky did. I just want to see the Eichel of the second half of last season in the first half of next season when it really counts — that Eichel, and then some, because that's the Eichel everyone envisioned, not the 36th in points per game Eichel of last season. What’s up with the stuffed animals (or very relaxed dogs)? Why isn’t he using the Captain America weights? They are not stuffed. Just totally transfixed by Eichel's beast mode.

Lighten up, Francis. An offseason feat of strength with an old friend has nothing to do with anything. Just a bit of fun.
Stoner Posted May 16, 2018 Report Posted May 16, 2018 Lighten up, Francis. An offseason feat of strength with an old friend has nothing to do with anything. Just a bit of fun. Well, we have a thread about it indicating he's stronger, faster and better.
LGR4GM Posted May 16, 2018 Author Report Posted May 16, 2018 (edited) Well, we have a thread about it indicating he's stronger, faster and better. fixed it for you. I don't really care. Yea, because this matters at all. Also if you don't care then go find another thread to "not care" in. Wait, I am a lazy millennial but good at the computers, I will go create that thread for you! LGR4GM Posted May 16, 2018 Author Report Posted May 16, 2018 It's a better title. Thank you. Just so it is clear, I deleted the other thread. Not a mod. Stay frosty PA
spndnchz Posted May 16, 2018 Report Posted May 16, 2018 Doesn’t take much to tap, go to YouTube, and read the description.
That Aud Smell Posted May 16, 2018 Report Posted May 16, 2018 Here's what the poster said: Jack Eichel hang cleans 275x5 like it’s nothing. This is very, very impressive stuff. If you’re a hockey fan, you know Jack as a NHL All-Star who is one of the best young players in the league. If you’ve followed me for awhile, you’ll recognize Jack as the kid who used to do amazing gym feats with me back in middle school and high school (he cleaned 300 pounds when he was 16). We haven’t trained together for four years since I moved to LA and he went to college and now the pros, so it’s great to have him come visit me and throw some weights around for old times sake. He had an unmatched work ethic as a kid and has continued that into his pro career, which is why he’s been so successful.
North Buffalo Posted May 16, 2018 Report Posted May 16, 2018 Id blow out my quads just thinking about lifting that much and dislocate my shoulders first if I tried to tug on that much, not to mention what it’d do to my back.... oof.
Drunkard Posted May 16, 2018 Report Posted May 16, 2018 Psssh, this is nothing. Casey Mittelstadt can lift more with just his ####.
