primeme Posted May 9, 2018 Report Posted May 9, 2018 Be kind my first post In my opinion the hardest shot to perfect and deadliest in hockey is the one timer ... This kid is amazing and we got him in the 7th round...I can see him with 20+ goals in 2018. Pencil in Victor Olofsson we need goal scorers... ghttp://buffalonews.com/2018/05/08/rasmus-dahlin-on-sabres-olofsson-best-shot-ive-ever-seen/ Quote
darksabre Posted May 9, 2018 Report Posted May 9, 2018 Would be nice to have a guy who can actually get that shot through instead if into shin pads or wide of the net. Quote
North Buffalo Posted May 9, 2018 Report Posted May 9, 2018 But it says you have 3 posts. ;)Tomatoe.... Tomatoe... still Love the post and I agree Sabres need scorers. Hopefully he can do it at NHL level. Quote

Yeah because there are loads of players with 100% shooting percentage, why can't we have one.  Edited May 9, 2018 by jsb Quote

Sabres Fan in NS Posted May 9, 2018 Report Posted May 9, 2018 But it says you have 3 posts. ;) It's been so long that he has forgotten about the first 2? :P Be kind my first post In my opinion the hardest shot to perfect and deadliest in hockey is the one timer ... Maybe Eich, or that other guy, is our Stamkos? Quote
That Aud Smell Posted May 9, 2018 Report Posted May 9, 2018 Welcome, primeme! We need a late-rounder or two to become a good NHLer. Here's hoping! Quote
sabills Posted May 9, 2018 Report Posted May 9, 2018 Ok, cool, we've got our 1st PP lineup set. Risto and Dahlin back on D, Reino in front of the net, Eichs and Olaf on the halfwalls. Quote
Winston Posted May 9, 2018 Report Posted May 9, 2018 Nice link! Cool to see Dahlin on the Assist for one of those.. Maybe more, I jumped around. Speaking of- wow, I saw a lot of Ryan Lasch down in the assist column. Did he set up every single Olofsson goal lol? Guess he had a pretty spectacular year: 15-40-55 in 49 gp. Quote
LGR4GM Posted May 9, 2018 Report Posted May 9, 2018 (edited) Olofsson would be my candidate to add some scoring to the 3rd line with Mittelstadt but I think Olofsson needs a year in the AHL and more strength. Edited May 9, 2018 by Skurk Liger Quote
Randall Flagg Posted May 9, 2018 Report Posted May 9, 2018 Definitely one of those guys that you can judge your organizational development system with. A rock-solid organization can take a player with a tool like that shot and make him a good NHLer. A bad organization has every late rounder wash out for an extended period of time with poor development coaches and decisions regarding where they play. We've been the bad one for a while. I challenge Botterill, Sexton, Taylor, Housley etc to mold this kid into something. Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted May 9, 2018 Report Posted May 9, 2018 For some reason I keep reading the thread title as ... Look at all these OLD timers ... Quote

I’m not surprised at what Dahlin said. I believe he has a legit shot at being in our lineup opening night. That may or may not be in his best interest, but we are so desperate for guys who can finish Jbot might just give him a chance. It’s not like he is a raw 19 year old kid. He’ll be 23 in July with 4+ season in the SHL playing against men. FYI: Dahlin was the youngest guy on that team w Olofsson. Dahlin was 3rd in D scoring on that squad. Former Sabres Mike Weber and Adam Pardy also played for Frolunda this season. Edited May 9, 2018 by GASabresIUFAN Quote
