sweetlou Posted April 29, 2018 Report Posted April 29, 2018 Does Dahlin coming to Buffalo help in Nylander's development?? Having a fellow Swede. Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted April 29, 2018 Report Posted April 29, 2018 We have a lot of Swedes around. If that was something to help Nylander I think we would have seen evidence of it already. Quote
sweetlou Posted April 29, 2018 Author Report Posted April 29, 2018 I hardly doubt Lehner, Larsson and Josefson helped Nylander... Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted April 29, 2018 Report Posted April 29, 2018 He played in Rochester where a number of other Swedes played and is he not Canadian, eh? :P Quote
Robviously Posted April 29, 2018 Report Posted April 29, 2018 I'm more optimistic that another year in Rochester with Asplund and Olofsson will finally jolt him back to life, TBH. Not that I'm sure it will. But I think it could help. Quote
WildCard Posted May 1, 2018 Report Posted May 1, 2018 Pretty sure Cal O'Reilly broke Nylander. Just move him at this point Quote
Derrico Posted May 1, 2018 Report Posted May 1, 2018 To be honest, I want Nylander far far far away from Dahlin. We don't need his lazy, disinterested play affecting Dahlin. Quote

I still believe in Nylander to be a good NHL player, maybe never reaching the level of his brother but certainly better than any of the wingers the Sabres had on their team last season (save Samson). Not all 8th overall picks become stars, we are extremely lucky to get Mittlestadt last year at 8. Quote

Huckleberry Posted May 1, 2018 Report Posted May 1, 2018 Pretty sure Cal O'Reilly broke Nylander. Just move him at this point I'm afraid that might be the case :( Quote
TheAud Posted May 2, 2018 Report Posted May 2, 2018 Pretty sure Cal O'Reilly broke Nylander. Just move him at this point Perhaps. But if so, he is such a snowflake that it was bound to happen anyway. Quote
LikeEich Posted May 2, 2018 Report Posted May 2, 2018 Maybe I'm way out of line, maybe not. 3 weeks ago I actually still had very high hopes for the kid, not anymore. Since I watched the leafs Bruins, I was woefully unimpressed with WNy. Soft player. Even in game 7 avoiding puck battles. If I was coach I would have sat him on the bench ( yes I'm aware Toronto media would have quite literally lynched me). I know it's unfair to judge the kid on his bro, but I see the same the in ANy. Yes very confusing abbreviations I realize lmao Quote
