Thorner
Wasn’t their leading scorer this season defenceman Zach Redmond with 40 something points? The issues with the Amerks are largely the same as with the Sabres: they lack high end goal scoring.
Andrew Amerk
Fk is goiong on.. 17 goals against on 3 games, jesus christ !!!!!!I believe it was 16, you may have counted an empty netter. I was at the game last night. The Amerks were nothing short of atrocious. Not quite sure what Chris Taylor was thinking, but he never adapted his game plan. The entire game, the Amerks were chipping the puck along the boards, or doing a dump and chase. They were beaten to pucks or beaten along the boards all night long. On power plays, they just stood around and didn’t move their feet. If the other games were like what I saw last night, I wouldn’t be so worried about Linus. The team was NOT helping him at all. The Crunch swiftly carried through the neutral zone often, and easily went right into the slot with little pushback. I’d be most worried about Nylander. He seemed invisible all game. I don’t think I ever saw him out on the power plays, and I’m not even certain he was out much in the 3rd. Considering his draft spot and pedigree, he should’ve been dominating the game IMO. MODO Hockey
I feel that the Sabres brass underestimated the importance of chemistry and screwed the pooch by keeping guys up in Buffalo too long. Could not agree more. Such a fkn stupid move
Wyldnwoody44
I personally blame MODO for not coming over, that's the reason we got crushed.
