Mark Stone, RW, Ottawa, is a 25 year old UFA coming off a 20-42-62 season and made $3.5M last year in 58gp. SIGN THIS GUY TRADE FOR THIS GUY

He consistently puts up 20g and 60 points, he is consistently a good possession winger, is young, and should be decently cheap. This is a no brainer, sign--or-this-guy-right-away, move.

He missed time this year due to a high ankle sprain

Mark Stone would help any team in the league, but I would be shocked if Ottawa let him go, given what’s happening to the franchise.

He’s an RFA, not a UFA.

Dammit Charlie.

spotrac has him as a UFA

And cap friendly has him as an RFA

What the hell is going on here

Edit: Well everywhere else I've looked has him as an RFA. Spotrac is just wrong it seems.

Well then...trade for Mark Stone

I have a radical approach to this off-season.  Let's not go after every one possibly available.  Lets actually build the right way with guys in the organization and once we have turned the corner, then lets go after guys to fill holes in the roster.
