The Season Finale GDT Buffalo at Florida 4/7/18 7pm MSG GR

I'll miss the last game of the season with family movie night.  It's the way it goes.

 

We'll all get to watch some playoff hockey though.  And the World Championships and before you know it we will be huddled around our TVs waiting to see Buffalo's draft lottery slot.

I can watch replay on nhl web or just see highlights and look for your comments, whole game maybe a little painful to watch if not live..

I DVR all the games, and watch 2 hours after they start. I fast forward through stops, commercials, and between periods. And when the game is bad, I FF to the highlights. So lots of FF this season.

I do the exact same. Kids go to bed at 8 and I wait until about 9 and watch it in an hour. Hour 15 if it’s a good one.

Well calculated, d4rk.  I would have come out and said that one team was going to wear light uniforms, and the other, dark. I didn't want to take that risk, though.

Florida's camera angles are the worst

In 1985-86 the Sabres disappointed with a season around .500 puncturing the balloons of fans that thought they were on the upswing due to the draft razzle dazzle and prospect collecting of Scotty Bowman.

 

We thought they would rebound the next year, but they crashed and burned. The Bowman era ended and the Sabres went on to finish dead last in the NHL with 64 points. It was the lowest point in franchise history and would remain so for another 30 years. Things got better.

 

Once again we are dead last. Win tonight and It will be with 64 points.

 

This is the nadir.
