My gut. I could have easily had Wash, Pitt, TB, or Boston in the finals on the east side, but the way it went narrowly won out. 

 

I think the only surprise on teh west side is Nash vs Winnipeg, and I chose that one because Winny is the team I'm rooting for this time around.

Reasonable choice, Nashville stringest in West... Boston imo in East but hard to judge in playoffs. Sharks and Winny I think can give Nash a run for its money. East more wide open.

I am really interested in seeing what Vegas is gonna do. Nashville needs to strike now, this is their best window/shot.

 

I think Toronto takes Boston out, but Pitt just doesn't have the gas to take out the Caps this year.

You're right to be worried, I am notoriously bad at these things. I'm lucky to get 3/8 of the first round right any given year. I don't think my cup team has gotten out of the first round like 3 of the past 4 brackets I've made.

They aren't very different and both seem plausible.

Also, random note - Winnipeg has been truly dominant this year. There was a 3 game stretch where their offensive zone time with possession was about 25 minutes, compared to 6 total for their opponents over those 3 games.

I have Boston over Winnipeg, but normally my Stanley Cup choice looses in first two rounds.

 

I really don‘t want Boston to win, but somehow they are scary good right now.
