Words cannot describe how much I hate that Risto's first move is the lob pass. That's so tanky. That's all we did that season.

If we get Dahlin, I honestly am leaning towards trading Risto.

Lol. Of the 2015 late rounders, Stephens can’t get out of the ECHL, Estephan wasn’t given a contract and Chukarov likely won’t get a contract either when he finishes college.

Still too soon. Stephens being in Cincinnati is a (I'd argue good) byproduct of Botterill stocking the Amerks defensive corps. Sure, JBot missed on Beaulieu thus far, but at the AHL level the D has been good and filled with veterans. And yes, the Amerks miss Nelson and Guhle, but they'll get them back soon.

Is it my imagination or is Nylander playing very well tonight?

Played well his first game too.

Like Flagg said, excellent positioning and he’s not been weak physically.

And there is none of that waiting around I’ve come to expect from his game.
