Randall Flagg Posted April 7, 2018 Report Posted April 7, 2018 Context is pretty important, no? Put those guys on the Sabres. They're better at hockey than Drew Schreilstal Quote
LGR4GM Posted April 7, 2018 Report Posted April 7, 2018 And even in 2014 we got Oloffson. 2015 Guhle and borgen. 2016, Asplund, Pu, Fitzgerald, Glotov. Quote
dudacek Posted April 7, 2018 Report Posted April 7, 2018 He's that zany comedian who smashes pumpkins on stage. I thought he was the Greek soft hits piano dude. Plays a lot of Harvest Festivals. Quote
Brawndo Posted April 7, 2018 Report Posted April 7, 2018 Â Â Curtis Brown and Wayne Primeau were the last pair of Sabres to score their first NHL Goals in the same game Quote
LGR4GM Posted April 7, 2018 Report Posted April 7, 2018 My biggest hope is that te new regime doesn’t shy away from highly productive smaller playersLinus Weissbach Quote
DarthEbriate Posted April 7, 2018 Report Posted April 7, 2018 Holy moly. Had to look at the TBL drafts... in 2011 they took: Namestnikov, Kucherov, Nesterov, Wilcox (our backup tonight), Peca (steady AHLer), and with their final pick Palat. Wowsers.  By comparison in 2011 we took: Armia, Catenacci, Jacobs, Lepkowski, Lieuwen (too many concussions), and Navin. Armia could still pan out, Catenacci is still in the AHL. And that's it. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted April 7, 2018 Report Posted April 7, 2018 Holy crap ROR. Our best players have definitely been our worst. Quote
WildCard Posted April 7, 2018 Report Posted April 7, 2018 Most of it yes Least that's some good news. Quote

dudacek Posted April 7, 2018 Report Posted April 7, 2018 Jesus, OReillys turn to cough it up. Our two best passers playing for Tampa tonight. Quote
WildCard Posted April 7, 2018 Report Posted April 7, 2018 Linus Weissbach Perfect example 10-16-26 in 34gp in his freshman year in the NCAA. Very impressive Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted April 7, 2018 Report Posted April 7, 2018 We have no ###### clue what Murray's late picks look like. 2014 wasn't his scouting staff. 2015 and 2016 still to early to tell.Ok smart guy, which late rd pick from 2015 or 2016 has shown any potential. Glotov? Budik? No one from 2015 after Borgen will ever play a minute in Buffalo. Quote

Drafting means everything in this league. Just like the NFL, if you don't draft well, you are screwed. Quote
LGR4GM Posted April 7, 2018 Report Posted April 7, 2018 10-16-26 in 34gp in his freshman year in the NCAA. Very impressiveThere's a guy in this draft, Aiden Dudas who will slide to the 4th because of size. He should go in the 2nd. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted April 7, 2018 Report Posted April 7, 2018 Pominville, you're f*cking garbage. Quote

Sabel79 Posted April 7, 2018 Report Posted April 7, 2018 Larson with the stylish giveaway at the blue line.... Quote
DarthEbriate Posted April 7, 2018 Report Posted April 7, 2018 Cory Conacher sighting! He of the very big helmet! Like mine, but less of a novelty than the Spaceballs version. Quote
LGR4GM Posted April 7, 2018 Report Posted April 7, 2018 3rd round and beyond is a crap shoot. You need to hit every other year on 1 of those picks. So basically 1 out of 8. Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted April 7, 2018 Report Posted April 7, 2018 Whoa, whoa. Wait until 2020-21 before looking at those drafts. Lol. Of the 2015 late rounders, Stephens can’t get out of the ECHL, Estephan wasn’t given a contract and Chukarov likely won’t get a contract either when he finishes college. Quote
thewookie1 Posted April 7, 2018 Report Posted April 7, 2018 I get the feeling Eichel wants other players to do stuff on the powerplay but they seem determined for him to do everything. Quote
