Taro T Posted April 1, 2018 Report Posted April 1, 2018 How many times has a player had 5 points and still been a minus (Jack is -1)? No data. But it probably hasn't been as uncommon as you'd expect. None of his last 4 points counted as a plus. He's realistically a +3. Was only on the ice for 2 against. Quote
Winston Posted April 1, 2018 Report Posted April 1, 2018 That one was 2 + 2. Two empty net points, or even three.  The 3+1 was Carolina around THanksgiving.  LOL Pominville Yep, just looked it up. I gave Jack an extra point- it was indeed 2+2. And it was the day after Christmas, not the day before. I watched at a bar, so you’ll have to give me a break :P  https://www.hockey-reference.com/boxscores/201512260BOS.html  Anyways, 5 must be a new career high. But he should go for 6 anyway! Quote
Billznut Posted April 1, 2018 Report Posted April 1, 2018 The Sabres pass up more shots from in close than any team I’ve ever seen in 40+ years of watching the NHL Quote
Taro T Posted April 1, 2018 Report Posted April 1, 2018 It is? Hmm I did not think that was true. I’ll have to look into that. That's the way it was done through the '90's. Never heard of them changing that. Quote
bunomatic Posted April 1, 2018 Report Posted April 1, 2018 Rodriguez is dumb Just shoot the damn thing Quote
Brawndo Posted April 1, 2018 Author Report Posted April 1, 2018 Did Johnson have to make a save on Pominville? Quote
Randall Flagg Posted April 1, 2018 Report Posted April 1, 2018 It's so much fun to look forward to seeing 3 lines instead of 1. Did Johnson have to make a save on Pominville? Yes. Almost as hard of a shot as his usual ones too. Quote
Billznut Posted April 1, 2018 Report Posted April 1, 2018 Just shoot the damn thingFrustrating. They routinely try to pass instead of just shooting Quote
Billznut Posted April 1, 2018 Report Posted April 1, 2018 Taking idiotic penalties is a good way to lose this game. And another one Quote
LTS Posted April 1, 2018 Report Posted April 1, 2018 That's the way it was done through the '90's. Never heard of them changing that. Yeah. I was incorrect. Not sure why I thought that... but it’s 4/6. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted April 1, 2018 Report Posted April 1, 2018 2-man advantage? Ugh. Dumb and dumber. Quote
Huckleberry Posted April 1, 2018 Report Posted April 1, 2018 anyway, i'm of to bed now 04.15 am :p Quote
bunomatic Posted April 1, 2018 Report Posted April 1, 2018 a slash and a high stick is what it should be Quote
Taro T Posted April 1, 2018 Report Posted April 1, 2018 That's the way it was done through the '90's. Never heard of them changing that. And that's still how it's done. Sabres 4 of 6 through 2. Quote
