bunomatic Posted March 30, 2018 Report Posted March 30, 2018 Welcome to the Buffalo Sabres Casey Whaysyourname. Shoulda stayed in school. Quote
Beer Posted March 30, 2018 Report Posted March 30, 2018 This was as Sabres as a game can be. Dare I say Billsy? Quote
hockeyhound Posted March 30, 2018 Report Posted March 30, 2018 Lol perfect ending. Fast forward to lottery balls please. 18.5% Let’s Go Buffalo! Quote
Thorner Posted March 30, 2018 Report Posted March 30, 2018 Well, we got to see Eichel and Mittelstadt together! For all of the good things I saw tonight, I saw many more bad things as well. Fixed. Quote
R_Dudley Posted March 30, 2018 Report Posted March 30, 2018 (edited) Well anyway it was good to see some of the future with Casey. This team is maddening because it can go from looking competent to totally inept in one shift. These guys have nothing to lose they should be playing to have fun trying to score not offensive like they look. Edited March 30, 2018 by R_Dudley Quote
Tondas Posted March 30, 2018 Report Posted March 30, 2018 (edited) Welcome to the Buffalo Sabres Casey Whaysyourname. Shoulda stayed in school. Casey is taking summer courses and he heard the class "to be the best Sabre Player" was an easy A. Edited March 30, 2018 by Tondas Quote
WildCard Posted March 30, 2018 Report Posted March 30, 2018 All but garunteed to end up last overall at this point right? Quote
Guest Posted March 30, 2018 Report Posted March 30, 2018 Can't wait to hear Droopy's post game tonight. Quote
darksabre Posted March 30, 2018 Report Posted March 30, 2018 Casey looked good for a kid playing his first NHL game.Jack was great.Everyone else was the worst version of themselves tonight. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted March 30, 2018 Report Posted March 30, 2018 The lost lead was inexorable. It was obvious that once Detroit scored immediately to make it 2-1... the team just flattened out. It was like Wedge got taken out... and you just knew that Biggs was toast. Quote
Guest Posted March 30, 2018 Report Posted March 30, 2018 Erod, you are not bright Yeah, but he has a mouth and set of lips that even Steven Tyler is jealous of. This team plays as ugly as they look. Quote
R_Dudley Posted March 30, 2018 Report Posted March 30, 2018 Just switched over to the Pens game to see them beat NJ in OT, of course Sidney Crosby, bats it in after first hitting first off the post. Opening day of Base Ball indeed. Real hockey Quote
dudacek Posted March 30, 2018 Report Posted March 30, 2018 Casey Casey Sam Jack and Goulet to finish that one. Statement, IMO Quote

DarthEbriate Posted March 30, 2018 Report Posted March 30, 2018 Casey looked good for a kid playing his first NHL game. Jack was great. Everyone else was the worst version of themselves tonight. It was maddening. Eichel got hurt and the team rose up and learned to play. He came back and they expected him to do everything for them. And now there's Mittelstadt to do everything for them as well. The team can rest two times as much. Quote

Randall Flagg Posted March 30, 2018 Report Posted March 30, 2018 I thought ROR had a very good game for the trash he had to carry around in tough assignments. There were a few shifts where he had defensive zone/transition efforts that very few other players in this league could pull off, that ended in nothing because of 20 and 21 being nowhere to be found. Randall Flagg Posted March 30, 2018 Report Posted March 30, 2018 I can already feel my eyelid preparing to twitch heavily when we move forward with our plans to release Antipin knowing full well Beaulieu is playing here again next year. Quote
dudacek Posted March 30, 2018 Report Posted March 30, 2018 I suspect our save pct. has been brutal over the past few weeks Quote

Randall Flagg Posted March 30, 2018 Report Posted March 30, 2018 (edited) Imagine if Jack got to play with a Kucherov, or a Nylander, or a guy like that If he was on Tampa or Pittsburgh or whatever, and he took that shot for a rebound at the end, it goes in because those teams crash the net. Instead his teammates were picking their noses in the corner. How many times has he shrugged off eight guys, skated through, set up possession, and looked up to see that his BEST option is to fling it away because he's carrying trash around Edited March 30, 2018 by Randall Flagg Quote
