I can’t even really blame him for any of the goals, but if Johnson and Ullmark are healthy and don’t suck, tonight may be the last game Lehner plays as a Sabre.

Games like this also get coaches fired.

Yeah, prior to the trade deadline, thought he could be back next season. The rumors of him asking for the trade & his results since make it look like the parting will be mutual and soon.

Pretty sure the decision he no longer fits the plans was made when Ullmark was brought up this last time.

One thing is for certain... they've responded to Housley's challenge. Unfortunately, their response is that they don't respect him as a coach. He's lost this team.

This quote by Pominville on Phil has been stuck in my head for a few days.

"He'll show his emotions between periods, the next day, at times at practice. Most of it is done in here in the video room, which a lot of guys respect that. He's not a guy to skewer anyone in the media, so he has our back, we have his back."

If you keep repeating something long enough it might eventually come true.

I thought over the past two months this has mostly looked like a well-coached, talent-poor team.

Tonight, after the past week or two, this is the first time I’ve felt like Housley could be in trouble.

Yeah, maybe he never had it to lose.

Oh.

Uh-oh.

He's pulling your leg. No NHLer writes as well as dudacek does.

Or was dudacek a college boy...

I think he wants to unburden himself.

I think he wants to unburden himself.

It’s times like this we all wish we could unburden ourselves of the unhealthy relationship we have with this team.

As for the other, let’s just say I’m no Morris Titanic.
