Crusader1969 Posted March 18, 2018 Report Posted March 18, 2018 (edited) McIsaac has been ranked anywhere between 13th and 30th and is unlikely to be available for the Sabres in the 2nd round but lets look at him anyways. 6'1 185lbs for the Halifax Mooseheads 9G and 38A in 65GP this season. From the highlights, it look like he has some offensive ability but is known more for his defensive game Dobber Propects:Jared McIsaac /LHD / 6’2 209lbs / 03-27-00 (QMJHL) : Big, strong and capable at both ends of the ice. A likely safe top four future but has seen his stock consistently drop throughout the year. Expectations were high and they haven’t been met. Recrutes.ca: I don’t think he’s better than a fourth. He has value because he can skate and moves puck. Bouchard for sure has a lot more upside because of his offence. The Draft Analyst: aren’t many defenders in this draft better at smothering puck carriers off the rush than McIsaac, who has quick feet and maintains an incredibly tight gap. Sabres Fan in NS Posted March 18, 2018 Report Posted March 18, 2018 I have seen him play a few times. He should be a very good player in the NHL. And he should be a upper-mid to lower-late first round pick this draft. Quote
