Eleven Posted March 17, 2018 Report Posted March 17, 2018 I see Johnson has been taking rebound lessons from Lehner. Every goal is reviewed? It was pretty clear the net didn't become dislodged until the puck had crossed the line. Wasn't that clear to me but I'm some distance from the television. Quote
darksabre Posted March 17, 2018 Report Posted March 17, 2018 That was an unfortunate bounce off of Risto Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted March 17, 2018 Report Posted March 17, 2018 (edited) I see Johnson has been taking rebound lessons from Lehner. Wasn't that clear to me but I'm some distance from the television. Rebound went high but Risto was Johnny on the spot to knock it right back into the net. Edited March 17, 2018 by PromoTheRobot Quote
MODO Hockey Posted March 17, 2018 Report Posted March 17, 2018 May i have a risto please, - Risto comin up! Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted March 17, 2018 Report Posted March 17, 2018 BTW when did Guhle become Goo-lay? Quote
Stoner Posted March 17, 2018 Report Posted March 17, 2018 (edited) Coming out of the previous TV timeout, they showed Eichel on the bench and he clearly shouted down the bench to someone, "Don't panic!" then sort of pantomined taking a deep breath. I'm guessing a mate had the wind knocked out of him. Edited March 17, 2018 by PASabreFan Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted March 17, 2018 Report Posted March 17, 2018 Oh, poop!! I take a break for 30 minutes to put a quick spreadsheet together for a client and I miss all the fun. Damn work!! Always getting in the way of fun ......... :censored: Quote
Stoner Posted March 17, 2018 Report Posted March 17, 2018 (edited) BTW when did Guhle become Goo-lay? Might be a Rick-ism. Jim Lorentz told the story one time about how when he came to the Sabres, his name was pronounced LOR-entz and Rick turned it into lo-RENTZ for dramatic effect. Just asking because the Chicago broadcast is saying it too. Quote
Stoner Posted March 17, 2018 Report Posted March 17, 2018 (edited) The fist hold-out and no one pays attention. Embarrassing. Edited March 17, 2018 by PASabreFan Quote
LGR4GM Posted March 17, 2018 Report Posted March 17, 2018 Sabres GM if you're reading this, PLEASE lock up sam for 8 years while he can still be had for cheap. You're essentially paying a PPG player for closer to 4 mil than 7 mil. I don't think Sam's development is a fluke, It would be wise to lock him up NOW. I have no doubt Sam can sustain this PPG pace throughout the duration of his career and better. You may save like 3 mil on the cap and have a super affordable contract going forward. His start may have been a blessing in disguise. Call it risky, call me crazy, but the potential reward deserves a considerationNo. I'm not paying a streaky player for 8 years until he earns it. Quote
Brawndo Posted March 17, 2018 Author Report Posted March 17, 2018 No. I'm not paying a streaky player for 8 years until he earns it. Yep two year bridge deal Quote
Nitro60 Posted March 17, 2018 Report Posted March 17, 2018 Risto was indecisive and Johnson gives up a juicy rebound and it ends in the net, Not a good way to start the third period. No. I'm not paying a streaky player for 8 years until he earns it. It is wiser to sign him longer term when he is in a lull than when he is on a high. 8 years is a bit much Quote
Nitro60 Posted March 17, 2018 Report Posted March 17, 2018 Passive defense by Chicago works for the Sabres Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted March 17, 2018 Report Posted March 17, 2018 Take me to the river! *I don't know why I love you like I do* ... :flirt: +++++ Time for a PP slapper. Quote
Sabel79 Posted March 17, 2018 Report Posted March 17, 2018 Eichel hurt again. . Or not. Hammy needs to make up his mind, Quote
