DarthEbriate Posted March 15, 2018 Report Posted March 15, 2018 Woooooooo! Now witness the power of this fully armed and operational battle-Reinhart! Quote
DarthEbriate Posted March 15, 2018 Report Posted March 15, 2018 I'm a little irked that after we score a goal, we ice the least energetic of our lines (Pouliot-Larsson-Pommers), a checking line that won't throw a check, and two AHL-level (but with a future) defensemen. That said, everyone else was on the PP. Quote

inkman Posted March 15, 2018 Report Posted March 15, 2018 Shine up the golf clubs sabres Who are you talking to? I'm a little irked that after we score a goal, we ice the least energetic of our lines (Pouliot-Larsson-Pommers), a checking line that won't throw a check, and two AHL-level (but with a future) defensemen. Beer Posted March 16, 2018 Report Posted March 16, 2018 Robin Lehner making 4th liners look like all stars Quote
DarthEbriate Posted March 16, 2018 Report Posted March 16, 2018 A checking line in 2018 NHL doesn't hit. Just saying. It doesn't have to be a line of thumpers, but making disruptive contact is still important. Martin (an actual checker) just hit Risto along the boards. Almost became a full Leafs possession, but Sabres were able to clear the zone. Next shift, Nylander didn't just poke-check, he got his body on... (Nelson? Scandella?) and it became a Leafs possession and shot.   Was busy typing so didn't see if this goal was caused by anything. But checking lines and all players can still make contact. Even Larsson isn't doing that this year. Quote
Thorner Posted March 16, 2018 Report Posted March 16, 2018 Robin Lehner making 4th liners look like all stars He’s terrible.  And the waves after every goal are getting annoying. Quote
apuszczalowski Posted March 16, 2018 Report Posted March 16, 2018 Lol, the tsn guys were just talking about how Lehner isnt helping thw Sabres with his softees.... A Nylander just did something to help the Sabres..... Quote
Brawndo Posted March 16, 2018 Author Report Posted March 16, 2018 Don't know. You could probably find a Youtube video of the old Nike (?) commercial with the insane former goalie shouting "die, Maple Leafs, die" as he rode a lawn mower over a yard full of leaves. Used to be fun to watch the MMArena jumbotron play that video. https://youtu.be/Q4ghL3yWD-I Too easy Quote
Beer Posted March 16, 2018 Report Posted March 16, 2018 First game I've watched in a while, glad the Sabres decided to show up. Quote
apuszczalowski Posted March 16, 2018 Report Posted March 16, 2018 (edited) Watching Robin Lehner play, I cant believe Tim Murray wasn't being fought over when the Sabres let him go.... Â How were teams not banging on the Sabres door to get him at the deadline? Edited March 16, 2018 by apuszczalowski Quote
apuszczalowski Posted March 16, 2018 Report Posted March 16, 2018 I think they need to pass it a little more on the PP..... Quote
darksabre Posted March 16, 2018 Report Posted March 16, 2018 I think they need to pass it a little more on the PP..... They actually do need to pass it more. And more quickly. Quote
