WildCard Posted March 9, 2018 Report Posted March 9, 2018 https://www.nhlpa.com/player-poll/2017-18 The Sabres get pretty shafted on a lot of these; wait till you get to the all time list Quote
WildCard Posted March 9, 2018 Author Report Posted March 9, 2018 How do the Sabres get shafted? Eichel is faster than Larkin, Hasek is better than Brodour Quote
Sabel79 Posted March 9, 2018 Report Posted March 9, 2018 The fact that 3% of players today think (or voted for a goof) Carey Price is the best goalie ever is hilarious. Quote
Drunkard Posted March 9, 2018 Report Posted March 9, 2018 How do the Sabres get shafted? Because despite being one of the worst team in the league for the last half decade, everyone is supposed to pump our tires and fawn over how great a couple of our players are. Duh. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted March 9, 2018 Report Posted March 9, 2018 Because despite being one of the worst team in the league for the last half decade, everyone is supposed to pump our tires and fawn over how great a couple of our players are. Duh. Being terrible recently doesn't make Brodeur or Roy better than Hasek. Quote
dudacek Posted March 9, 2018 Report Posted March 9, 2018 A get a sense the hockey world is starting to forget how good Hasek was. Quote
Drunkard Posted March 9, 2018 Report Posted March 9, 2018 (edited) Being terrible recently doesn't make Brodeur or Roy better than Hasek. I agree and to be honest, I didn't even click on the link. Whoever did the rankings probably let the number of Stanley Cups hold more impact in the rankings though. Edited March 9, 2018 by Alkoholist Quote

Stoner Posted March 10, 2018 Report Posted March 10, 2018 (edited) Eichel is faster than Larkin, Hasek is better than Brodour Maybe NHL players never see Eichel breaking in on goal. NHL games aren't skills competitions. It's funny that apparently the most underrated player in the NHL didn't even get on the ballot. The nominees garnered only about 30% of the vote. Eleven Posted March 10, 2018 Report Posted March 10, 2018 (edited) In 2012, over 21% of players said that they wanted Dan Bylsma as their coach. He was the leading vote-getter that year. That's what this poll is worth. Edited March 10, 2018 by Eleven Quote
