Needed upgrades: 

Two escalators on each side of the concourse.

Wider corridors on the 300 level.

Stronger, faster WiFi for better fan experience.

Better, newer sound system.

Graffiti proof bathroom stalls. The things guys write on the walls are so immature and sometimes very obscene for the little ones.

Find a way to speed up concession lines. Better trained staff. 

 

Wanted but not needed upgrades:

Lower cost concessions. More “combo” deals. Some healthy and veggie options. “Single serve” popcorn cups, Instead of bucket only.

Newer video boards on the Jumbotron.

Take a page from SJ, MTL, and LA and play better choices in music during stops in play. The Sabres entertainment director (if he/she’s the one who chooses the music) needs to get with the times or get fired.

Lose the DJ guy. He falls flat, unmotivating.

New PP song. It’s god awful. 

More local food fair. Mighty taco, Chefs, Paula’s donuts etc ...

Oh, for sure. A lawyer suing a consumer fraud action would absolutely request, and be entitled to, evidence relating to the asserted fraud in the defendant's possession.

I'd bet dollars to donuts that Sportservice sells 5 oz. wine pours in other areas of its operations -- whether in that arena, other places in Buffalo, or other venues around the world. I'm also betting that those 5.75 oz. cups are destined for those "5 oz. wine pour" Sportservice-managed venues. I'm thirdly betting that -- as a result of centralized inventory shuffling and logistical fulfillment -- those 5.75 ounce cups sometimes end up at Sportservice bars where they ought not to be (because they sell 6 oz. pours). 

It just feels more like an error than a fraud. Now, if that error is committed enough times, it can start looking like a fraudulent act.

Someone posted on reddit that KBC maybe in line for 500 Million in upgrades and this was tweeted about Chris Ostander from Two in the Box. This seems excessive unless a complete redo of the entire arena is going to happen. Not sure the validity of the source obviously as well

I just hope they don't move the Bills downtown as it would just ruin the feel of Bills game days and over-encumber an already badly designed city highway system.

With Bills traffic more roads will get flipped to one way only like Abbott Rd is during games and, assuming it's down there you have 190 in both directions, Ohio street and south park ave to go south, 3 lanes of elm once they fix it to get to the Kensington, main to allow you to get to the rest of the grid like delaware Ave or Niagara st or genessee to go out. You could also reasonably take a bus and the metro will handle a couple thousand people as well.

Places with many more people and many fewer highways have downtown stadiums. It's not that hard. KBC is a poor measuring stick, that was built as absolutely cheaply as possible when it was built and they didn't make the proper connections to increase access to that side of the 190. A football stadium in that area will require them. Oak and Elm in particular need to go through and not dead end at the 190. Either that or a stadium needs to go on the baseball field side of the 190.

Fwiw, most traffic issues can be greatly helped with the use of more traffic cops but the teams like to cheap out on those.

We move 40,000 cars in and out of downtown every weekday.  Considering that almost no football fans travel alone, I can't see traffic or parking being problems at all.

I was under the impression that Mr Pegula wasn't incredibly keen on the idea of a downtown stadium. I'm not sure how much I believe this.

It would be really good if they moved the Bills downtown, but placing it correctly is going to be tough. Ideally it should go right next to the arena where the Baltimore St Lot is, but there really isn't enough room there and too much development has already happened between the casino and the arena. I'd love for that parking lot to go, but I don't think a stadium fits.

There really aren't any good answers for putting the stadium downtown without causing some pain or displacing people.

I recall it from a news article--whether TBN print, TBN website, or a TV news station website, I do not remember.  But it's pretty easy to see if you look at all the ramps and lots at 930 am or 330 pm (when they are at their fullest).

I like to call them the Orchard Park Bills ?

If the Pegulas/NFL want to be in the closer to the city limits of Buffalo, there’s space along the waterfront leading to Hamburg before the windmills. 

I have a feeling many politicians, fans, and the owners would love to see a new stadium in Buffalo. But when the money starts to be talked about and who is paying for what ... the discussion quickly dies.

Let’s see ... to help pay for things ...

ok, your parking rates will go up 50%.

ok, your ticket prices will go up 25% per year for next three years at least.

ok, all NY state residents will see an increase in taxes to help pay for a new stadium and infrastructure like roads, multitude of impact studies etc...

The distance to surrounding neighbors decreases. While the number of neighbors that can hear games, traffic, concert noise increases.

Just to clarify--I'm not saying it's advisable, but just that it is possible.  In any event, ticket prices and parking prices will go up no matter where a new stadium is built, and that's a question of "when," not "if."

Taxes may or may not rise.

The metro area includes Niagara Falls, Lockport, Amherst (Williamsville), Hamburg, Cheektovegas, West Seneca, etc. etc.  Enough 9-to-5 jobs to warrant 40k vehicles coming into just downtown Buffalo daily seems excessive.

It's a city with the infrastructure for 500,000 people with the population of 250,000. I think traffic getting to a game will greatly improve if they move the stadium downtown.

Half of the east side is empty lots because white people are too scared to live closer to where they work.
