Stoner Posted March 1, 2018 Report Posted March 1, 2018 You have watched Slapshot one too many times. I'm not sure I ever saw it. Quote
darksabre Posted March 1, 2018 Author Report Posted March 1, 2018 They mentioned that Housley said he earned it after the game in Boston. Interesting, thanks. Quote
3putt Posted March 1, 2018 Report Posted March 1, 2018 No softies let in either. They never deflated. Quote
woods-racer Posted March 1, 2018 Report Posted March 1, 2018 Four games again the Leafs, lets do this If they play this good against the Leaves I will have a hockey chubby. Quote
Sabel79 Posted March 1, 2018 Report Posted March 1, 2018 No softies let in either. They never deflated. Another good point. This one had "Lehner chucking one in his own net" written all over it. Glad he wasn't in. From the sounds of things, Lehner might be done here sooner than the offseason. Quote
erickompositör72 Posted March 1, 2018 Report Posted March 1, 2018 From the sounds of things, Lehner might be done here sooner than the offseason. What are the sounds you've heard? Just not starting, or getting waived? Either way, it's music to my ears :D Quote
woods-racer Posted March 1, 2018 Report Posted March 1, 2018 No softies let in either. They never deflated. Confidence. It's starts in the back end and works forward. Quote

Lehner will just walk after the Sabres don't qualify him. Quote
Sabel79 Posted March 1, 2018 Report Posted March 1, 2018 He'll be here until the end of the year, but Ochocinco might just see his time in net increase by a lot. Quote
Thorner Posted March 1, 2018 Report Posted March 1, 2018 With respect to Blue’s theory that attitude/locker room issues are easier to digest as a fan, I personally find the current key issue more palatable: it’s almost entirely talent related. We know it’s going to take time to cycle in more talent, but it’s refreshing to see what now looks like a cohesive unit (coaching) with rather more consistent effort (attitude), doing well for themselves in terms of providing a challenge for even the league’s best when we catch then off guard. The foundations are seemingly in place for a “culture change”, which will arrive no sooner and no later than when we acquire more real talent. Quote

Doohicksie Posted March 1, 2018 Report Posted March 1, 2018 I still have concerns about his absolute lack of any physicality... I don't. Igor Larionov had a complete lack of physicality but was a pretty good center. Was there any mention of why Johnson got his second start in a row tonight? Lehner still hurt a bit or just evaluating? It was stated that he started because he earned it. ROR - Reinhart - Rodrigues - Risto. They'll get it done in OT. The Pirate Line: RRRR! Quote
darksabre Posted March 1, 2018 Author Report Posted March 1, 2018 He'll be here until the end of the year, but Ochocinco might just see his time in net increase by a lot. Possibly. He's won 4 of his last 5. Auditioning for his platoon role with Ullmark next year? Quote
erickompositör72 Posted March 1, 2018 Report Posted March 1, 2018 It was stated that he started because he earned it. Let's not sell Lehner short. He definitely earned that seat on the bench. Quote
Doohicksie Posted March 1, 2018 Report Posted March 1, 2018 We really need Nelson to stay this good. And then keep getting better. We need every young player to keep getting better. I think that's how JBot said he would build the team, innit? Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted March 1, 2018 Report Posted March 1, 2018 So it must be that Jack, Evander and Kyle are the locker room cancers?! Quote
pi2000 Posted March 1, 2018 Report Posted March 1, 2018 (edited) Tip of the cap to Housley. They played hard for 62min and got rewarded. Edited March 1, 2018 by pi2000 Quote

Larionov didn't cough the puck up if you looked at him hard enough, though. I'm no Tim Murray, heavy game and all that, but ERod worries me in that department. Quote

sabresparaavida Posted March 1, 2018 Report Posted March 1, 2018 I've been playing Euchre since I was three. (Sorry, late to the discussion) Quote
Winston Posted March 1, 2018 Report Posted March 1, 2018 I came in 4th. 4th out of 32. And you know which places pay out??? Top 3.... We did get some cash for being the top seed during the regular season though. Presidents Trophy, if you will. Quote
Huckleberry Posted March 1, 2018 Report Posted March 1, 2018 I'm durnk but I love you guys Vasilevsky looked Lehner bad on the two goals though. Quote
Thorner Posted March 1, 2018 Report Posted March 1, 2018 I think this is a reasonable conclusion I think it’s the only conclusion. Keep removing players like Jenga until it collapses, then trade for that player back. Quote
