I would have to say pretty good, they gave him a chance and he made the most of it. It probably gets done .

I think Kane earned this and I'm happy for him, but I'm glad we didn't give him that deal.

Bob McKenzie reported after the trade deadline this was the only offer that Botterill got that could end up with the Sabres getting a First Round Pick for Kane. In the end Botterill got a his first, nice job
