7+6=13 Posted February 23, 2018 Report Posted February 23, 2018 He’s trying to learn a skill on the fly. He's acts like we did when I played street hockey as a youngster. Did things in net that had actually no value - just being stupid. Quote
Doohicksie Posted February 23, 2018 Report Posted February 23, 2018 I know people are worried about the contract, but I think Okposo is a keeper. And KANE increases his trade value! Quote
Doohicksie Posted February 23, 2018 Report Posted February 23, 2018 Now he’s worth a first? ...and a roster player and a starting goalie. Quote
Thorner Posted February 23, 2018 Report Posted February 23, 2018 Another year, another 20 goal season for Kaner. Impressive. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted February 23, 2018 Report Posted February 23, 2018 Pominville can't interfere with a goalie, it's not in his nature. Quote
Thorner Posted February 23, 2018 Report Posted February 23, 2018 (edited) Although Kane seems to score an oddly high amount of goals that get called off.. Edited February 23, 2018 by Thorny Quote
CallawaySabres Posted February 23, 2018 Report Posted February 23, 2018 (edited) Did these idiot refs even have a brain? Edited February 23, 2018 by CallawaySabres Quote
Thorner Posted February 23, 2018 Report Posted February 23, 2018 (edited) That's not interference. Pretty stupid for Pominville to charge directly into the crease. Edited February 23, 2018 by Thorny Quote
hockeyhound Posted February 23, 2018 Report Posted February 23, 2018 (edited) One for the good guys Let's Go Buffalo! Kanes' stock goes up and Risto has himself an assist. Edited February 23, 2018 by hockeyhound Quote
carpandean Posted February 23, 2018 Report Posted February 23, 2018 Now he’s worth a first? Four goals in his last seven games ... Quote
7+6=13 Posted February 23, 2018 Report Posted February 23, 2018 Sorry Kane - because we have too many contracts with players not worth the money - we can't afford to pay you even though you've earned a contract. Quote
Doohicksie Posted February 23, 2018 Report Posted February 23, 2018 Pominville can't interfere with a goalie, it's not in his nature. This is not the interference you're looking for. Baptiste is one of those players that tips the ice to the Sabres offensive zone. Quote
hockeyhound Posted February 23, 2018 Report Posted February 23, 2018 (edited) Nice save Risto. Seeing all the empty seats tonight reminded me of the Buffalo article describing how the radio show offered to pay someone to go to a Sabres game and they were turned down. LTS Posted February 23, 2018 Report Posted February 23, 2018 Sorry Kane - because we have too many contracts with players not worth the money - we can't afford to pay you even though you've earned a contract. Talk about an incredibly biased viewpoint. Kane has earned a contract... he wants to be the one who decides on where he will play next year. What evidence is there that Kane ever wanted to stay here? Has he even said the standard UFA quote? You know “of course I want to be here, we have to see what works out.” Quote
Doohicksie Posted February 23, 2018 Report Posted February 23, 2018 That, and that I’d like to see his vision and playmaking skills better (more often) utilized with the man advantage. It provides free space. Maybe they can go with the trend.... and take it a bit further: Instead of sliding out to the side of the net, drift all the way out to the half-wall. Quote
Sabel79 Posted February 23, 2018 Report Posted February 23, 2018 Caught up with the live feed in time for the third. I can't believe Buffalo is winning. Somewhere, in an attic, covered with cloth bound with rope, is a portrait of Lehner improving as a goalie. Christ. Quote
hockeyhound Posted February 23, 2018 Report Posted February 23, 2018 (edited) When was the last time the population of Pominville increased? Dang Girgs, ouch. Edited February 23, 2018 by hockeyhound Quote
DarthEbriate Posted February 23, 2018 Report Posted February 23, 2018 When was the last time the population of Pominville increased? A long time... A long time. Quote
Tondas Posted February 23, 2018 Report Posted February 23, 2018 Sad to see Pommer as he is now. We know Moulson will be bought out, what about Pommer? Quote
SwampD Posted February 23, 2018 Report Posted February 23, 2018 A long time... A long time. Don't you mean "A long, long time ago"? Quote
Sabel79 Posted February 23, 2018 Report Posted February 23, 2018 Sad to see Pommer as he is now. We know Moulson will be bought out, what about Pommer? I genuinely don't think either guy gets bought out. If JBOTS can (barring some sort of crazyass trade) save Moulson's buried cap hit letting Lehner walk, and Pommers takes a fourth line, special teams role for a year, better to have them off the cap sooner. I doubt he'll need the money. Quote
hockeyhound Posted February 23, 2018 Report Posted February 23, 2018 (edited) Sad to see Pommer as he is now. We know Moulson will be bought out, what about Pommer? Did they bring the guy back to be the elder statesman? Edited February 23, 2018 by hockeyhound Quote
