Swedesessed Posted February 22, 2018 Report Posted February 22, 2018 I have been counting down the minutes to this epic classic  Quote
Doohicksie Posted February 22, 2018 Report Posted February 22, 2018 Detroit is a bit of a tire fire themselves so, MAYBE WIN ? Quote
inkman Posted February 22, 2018 Report Posted February 22, 2018 I would have to have prior knowledge of an event to forget it Quote
MODO Hockey Posted February 22, 2018 Report Posted February 22, 2018 Wont be able to watch, unfortunate that Lehner got better. Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted February 22, 2018 Report Posted February 22, 2018 Time for a big WIN!! I think the Sabres do just that. GO SABRES!! Quote
CallawaySabres Posted February 22, 2018 Report Posted February 22, 2018 Might as well lose.... Is there anything less interesting than the Sabres playing another crap team Quote
Georgia Blizzard Posted February 22, 2018 Report Posted February 22, 2018 At what point with trade deadline on Monday, do you healthy scratch Kane to prevent injury ? Quote
Doohicksie Posted February 22, 2018 Report Posted February 22, 2018 Might as well lose.... Is there anything less interesting than the Sabres playing another crap team Curling. No, actually, not even curling. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted February 22, 2018 Report Posted February 22, 2018 Ok who else forgot about this one Always in motion the future is. Quote
CallawaySabres Posted February 22, 2018 Report Posted February 22, 2018 I don't like the sound of what is coming out of this organization right now. It seems like they are preparing the fan-base for another couple years of pain. It stinks that Eichel will probably waste on this team for another couple years before his talents even mean anything. I would not bring up any of the young talent next year because chances are, this team is preparing for another step back before moving forward. At least the royal blues will be back in time for what may be the first run at a playoff spot in a while. Quote

Their track history suggests otherwise. Quote
josie Posted February 22, 2018 Report Posted February 22, 2018 Detroit is a bit of a tire fire themselves so, MAYBE WIN ? Not a total basement battle, but maybe a scuffle in the hallway/stairwell to the basement? You know, where people hang all their junk on the walls so there's the plastic bag full of plastic bags getting knocked down the stairs, some brooms getting in the way, maybe tripping over the cat... Just don't murder Zetterberg or f up his back and I'll be happy. Quote

Well I know they are going back to royal blue so no matter what, it will be better than the piece of garbage they have now.... Quote
Taro T Posted February 22, 2018 Report Posted February 22, 2018 Hoping that NBCSN is showing the USA-Canada curling rematch then. Will most likely be better entertainment. Expecting a Sabres W for no particular reason whatsoever. Will watch on DVR as usual to skip the commercials. Quote

All I'm saying is that the last time we looked good in the playoffs, we were wearing black (and some red... like a quality lightsabre). Edited February 22, 2018 by DarthBerusad Quote
LTS Posted February 22, 2018 Report Posted February 22, 2018 I'll watch once i get home from hockey. Or I won't watch... it really depends on how the game starts out and where its at when I turn it on. Quote

If they are not making an honest attempt to end the playoff drought next season, then I'm out. It's as simple as that. Not worth my money nor my time. And I consider myself a pretty hardcore fan. Life is too short and precious to waste leisure hours on a franchise this incompetent. Quote

Two words: Steve Yzerman. Eventually the Wings figured it out and he got his glory. The Sabres will also figure it out. What specifically have you heard?! That JBot slammed a door. Randall Flagg Posted February 22, 2018 Report Posted February 22, 2018 It was eloquently stated on hfboards that there is only one outcome in which this game will be remembered by a single fan any time later than three months from now, and that outcome is if Evander Kane gets hurt. This is what it has come to.Thanks, Terry. Quote
pi2000 Posted February 22, 2018 Report Posted February 22, 2018 Two words.... Must. Win. It all boils down to this. One game. One period. One shift. The season hangs in the balance. A turning point for the organization, in what has a largely been a forgettable season. I, for one, can hardly contain myself. That said, I need to change the wiper fluid in my car, so I'll miss this one. Good luck boys! Quote

They are sooo far away right now and by next week, they won't have Kane, a starting goalie and God knows what else. just to get to 8th place is going to take a couple years Quote
Eleven Posted February 22, 2018 Report Posted February 22, 2018 Ok who else forgot about this one I had completely forgotten until I noticed there were three pinned posts at the top and wondered why. Quote
