If the throw is behind the line of scrimmage or the contact starts within a yard of the line then it’s legal. The Pats have been taking advantage of that (and being given the benefit of the doubt on close calls) forever now. They’re brilliant and it’s annoying. Quote

ubkev Posted October 7, 2018 Report Posted October 7, 2018 We're saved!!!!! Veteran QB Derek Anderson, who served a backup and mentor during Cam Newton's first seven years in the NFL, now expects to sign with the @Bills within 24 hours to provide rookie Josh Allen in a similar role, perhaps even with playing time, per sources.https://www.thescore.com/s/7211540 Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 7, 2018 Report Posted October 7, 2018 I mean, it beats having Nate Peterman as backup and "mentor." 1 Quote
Hank Posted October 7, 2018 Report Posted October 7, 2018 Hell of a run by Allen, nice first drive. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 7, 2018 Report Posted October 7, 2018 Taron Johnson has looked good this year. 1 Quote

Randall Flagg Posted October 7, 2018 Report Posted October 7, 2018 I feel like I'm still mad at Hughes even with the rule thing. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 7, 2018 Report Posted October 7, 2018 Spero Dedes says "and-complete" like it's one word and it fools me five times per game Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 7, 2018 Report Posted October 7, 2018 That was on Holmes - nice WRs McBeane Quote
Hank Posted October 7, 2018 Report Posted October 7, 2018 Holmes should have caught that ball, that pick is not on Allen. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 7, 2018 Report Posted October 7, 2018 I'd honestly be shocked if we got 2 first downs, much less win this game Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted October 7, 2018 Report Posted October 7, 2018 Quick!! Someone get the smelling salts for Flagg. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted October 7, 2018 Report Posted October 7, 2018 (edited) Gritty win. Ivory has more value than the stat sheet indicates IMO. That was actually a good signing. Edited October 7, 2018 by Randall Flagg 2 Quote

ubkev Posted October 7, 2018 Report Posted October 7, 2018 Barkley just straight legged the landing on the Giants go ahead TD. Definitely hyperextended his knee. Wonder if it's bad. Quote

Hoss Posted October 7, 2018 Report Posted October 7, 2018 Seeing it live I can say, along with everyone else, that Allen was brutal. Not excited to hear his comments after the game. Said he felt like he was “on” today and only missed “one or two” throws. Mariota is very bad. He was offensive player of the week for the AFC last week but I still thought he ever looked bad in that game. Quote

Glad they won, but boy was that ugly. Quote
