Samson's Flow Posted August 26, 2018 Report Posted August 26, 2018 We honestly have a bottom 5 offensive line. Could be worst in NFL. So far it wouldn't have mattered if we had all pros at every skill position. Ducasse just sacked Allen by getting walked back 7 yes into the QBs face Quote
Huckleberry Posted August 26, 2018 Report Posted August 26, 2018 Yeah, just sit Allen all year, get a new O-line next year. Let McCarron adn peterman get dinged up instead. Quote
MakeSabresGrr8Again Posted August 26, 2018 Report Posted August 26, 2018 We have a QB who can throw 75yds but an O-line who won't let him throw 5yds. Quote
Huckleberry Posted August 26, 2018 Report Posted August 26, 2018 Only good thing about those sacks is , the guards the ball well. But man they get at him easy. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted August 26, 2018 Report Posted August 26, 2018 (edited) I think I'd have rather gone through a non-rigged table than have watched that half. Edited August 26, 2018 by TrueBlueGED 1 Quote
JujuFish Posted August 26, 2018 Report Posted August 26, 2018 Our offensive line...taking its name way too literally. 1 Quote

All that work they said he did this summer on his foot work completely disappeared on that 2nd down throw. He was doing very well in keeping his feet moving. Just about no chance on four of the five sacks. Not sure what you were expecting but his footwork was not an issue today. Quote
JujuFish Posted August 26, 2018 Report Posted August 26, 2018 The key to winning is obviously ask the opposing teams to start their backup defensive linesmen every game against our starters. Done and done. Quote
inkman Posted August 26, 2018 Report Posted August 26, 2018 The announcers reviewing the Bills schedule based on last year's results was comically bad. Quote
That Aud Smell Posted August 26, 2018 Report Posted August 26, 2018 I legit can’t recall seeing worse O-line play from the Bills. And maybe the Bengals D will be good? Quote
Hoss Posted August 26, 2018 Report Posted August 26, 2018 A mass shooting in Jacksonville happened during a madden tournament. The shooter is David Katz. He is from Maryland but won the madden tournament hosted by the Bills last year at 716 Food and Sport. Quote
WildCard Posted August 27, 2018 Author Report Posted August 27, 2018 Might wanna put that in the politics thread, if you wanna post his name at all Quote
Taro T Posted August 27, 2018 Report Posted August 27, 2018 I stand by my earlier contention. This line will get Allen killed. Start Chad Peterman (Nate Pennington?) & let him or McCarron (if he heals up) get pounded. Give Allen games 15 & 16 and a real O-line next season. If he's still alive next season, let Pennington, er, Peterman be Josh's backup. REALLY tired of throwing away entire seasons, but I want to see Allen running the show for the next 15 seasons. Only having 80% of his current arm strength because he blew out his throwing shoukder or elbow will not allow that to happen. If it takes this season being a throw away for him to come away healthy, then so be it. Stinks, but it is what it is. 2 Quote

CallawaySabres Posted August 27, 2018 Report Posted August 27, 2018 Nothing new today and anyone who didn't know the line would be this bad has not been following this team for the last year-and-a-half. Allen should not see the field for one day this year 1 Quote
jsb Posted August 27, 2018 Report Posted August 27, 2018 First it's still the preseason and a rookie QB can make the OLine look a lot worst than it already is by not making the correct reads. Didn't see enough of the 1Q to really make a good judgement but with most rookies he's going to have his moments where he looks great and when he makes the entire offense look atrocious. Sounds like he had the latter yesterday. Quote

That line was horrible and if not for Allen, it could have been 7 or 8 sacks in the first half. Quote
