Derrico Posted February 11, 2018 Report Posted February 11, 2018 How is there not a thread on this yet? Quote
Claude Balls Posted February 11, 2018 Report Posted February 11, 2018 (edited) How long will it just be a LBI? Sposed to have MRI tomorrow. Looked pretty ugly. And right leg this time, not the left like last season. Edited February 11, 2018 by Claude Balls Quote
Doohicksie Posted February 11, 2018 Report Posted February 11, 2018 I'm not so pessimistic. He skated off. Could be just a sprain. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted February 11, 2018 Report Posted February 11, 2018 Tweets indicate it's a knee, MRI tomorrow. I don't believe that it'll be too serious, I just think they want to look at it before throwing him back out there. Regardless of severity, I will be off as long as Jack is. He's the only thing giving me any interest and excuse to procrastinate with this team. Get well soon bud. the hockey gods. When you win one for us, make sure to spit in their faces while you skate with the cup. Quote

pi2000 Posted February 11, 2018 Report Posted February 11, 2018 In my amatuer opinion, it looks like s grade 2 MCL sprain. 1-3 weeks would be my guess... so week to week. Quote
WildCard Posted February 11, 2018 Report Posted February 11, 2018 There's only so much a fan can take Quote
CallawaySabres Posted February 11, 2018 Report Posted February 11, 2018 So now I will get $5 per ticket instead of $20, awesome Quote

That's what happened to my MCLs in a game in almost the same situation (except I was in the crease and had my skates go out). I'd hope for 3 weeks for Eichel. I was 22 at the time and certainly nowhere near the athlete Eichel is (nor the training staff) but it was a little over a month before I was finally able to walk and turn without feeling like I was losing support in my knees. No you don't but we need to find out who is worth keeping and who isn't and the only silver lining with Jack out of the lineup is it gives guys like Wilson, Girgensons, Erod, Larsson, Reinhart etc.. a chance to prove they are part of the the solution. If none of these guys steps up beyond last night, then none will be here long-term. Quote

Stoner Posted February 11, 2018 Report Posted February 11, 2018 How is there not a thread on this yet? It's already being discussed in another thread! Duh. This thread needs a better title. More objective maybe. Quote
Stoner Posted February 11, 2018 Report Posted February 11, 2018 In the postgame Kane said Jack was in "good spirits." I don't think it's going to be disastrous news. Quote

Sabel79 Posted February 11, 2018 Report Posted February 11, 2018 High ankle sprain. JFC not this again. Quote
josie Posted February 11, 2018 Report Posted February 11, 2018 Well, at least it’s not like we were making a playoff push. Totally sucks, Jacky boy Quote
dudacek Posted February 11, 2018 Report Posted February 11, 2018 Damn, thought we were safe with Girgensons out. But the other ankle this time? Quote
PalmTreeMafia Posted February 11, 2018 Report Posted February 11, 2018 Another high ankle sprain, this time on the other leg. We'll see him in late March at the earliest, but very easily he's out for the rest of the season. I am NOT saying he's injury prone, but he definitely could beneift from more focused leg strengthening rehab between now and October. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted February 11, 2018 Report Posted February 11, 2018 High ankle out indefinitely :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: Probably best to just shut him down for the year. I don't see a point in bringing him back for 5 games or whatever it would be at the end. Quote
Huckleberry Posted February 11, 2018 Report Posted February 11, 2018 They should shelf him for the season, not take any risks. Go all in for Dhalin :p Quote
